ladylike
for fans of… Big Thief, Laura Marling, Black Country, New Road

October 7th, 2026

Delicately treading the tightrope between folk and post-rock, Brighton’s ladylike inhabit a particular kind of quiet. Formed from friendships that predate the band itself, the quartet serve their folk rare: raw and pastoral, but with a side of textural, atmospheric builds directly wired into the tensions of the modern world.

It’s a formula that has gained them slots at Green Man, Left Of The Dial, The Great Escape, and Dot To Dot, plus supports with Ugly, Mary in the Junkyard and Lime Garden. Early champions at radio and press include KEXP, BBC 6 Music, Apple 1, Radio X, DIY, So Young, and Rough Trade.

GIFT
for fans of… Beach Fossils, DIIV and Wild Nothing

September 22nd, 2026

NYC band GIFT are back in Sep! One of our favourite past guests, they return with newfound dance energy on their gothic new record Illuminator, which Anthony Fantano has the hots for. So he should! Their psychey wash is suddenly crisp, direct and fully realised. It’s a special one.

Having assembled on a lark in the Big Apple from roots as diverse as Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Brazil and Boston, GIFT leaned on their collective deep experiences in numerous non-performing aspects of the biz as part of settling on a bold new sound – a dizzying blend of early shoegaze, classic ’90s alternative rock and even modern pop.

Indeed, that GIFT emerged somewhat fully formed on their 2022 debut album Momentary Presence was a testament to the untapped creative potential laying deep within, and it wasn’t long before the band was pricking up the ears of adventurous listeners both at home and across the Atlantic Ocean.

Now, Illuminator, their Aug 23 debut album for revered New York independent label Captured Tracks, is the long-awaited payoff of GIFT’s ever-growing musical and human chemistry. And while nods are apparent to label forerunners such as Beach Fossils, DIIV and Wild Nothing, GIFT are shepherding those elements into wondrous new vessels for the present moment – sleek, often danceable and frequently mesmerizing.

Francis of Delirium
at The Mash House
for fans of… Boygenius, Wolf Alice, Soccer Mommy

September 19th, 2026

Luxembourg’s breakout indie star Francis of Delirium joins us for two Scottish dates this September following the release of new album ‘Run, Run Pure Beauty’.

Lead single ‘Little Black Dress’ is a soaring slice of power pop that’s as catchy as it is cathartic. In singular Francis of Delirium style, guitars and drums crescendo with sugar-rush vocal melodies, paired with a sting of Gen-Z melancholy and Jana’s heart-on-sleeve, emotionally intelligent songwriting that’s formed such a strong connection with her fans.

Since their debut album Lighthouse was released in March 2024 – named as one The Guardian’s Readers Favourite Albums of the year – Francis of Delirium were proclaimed “Luxembourg’s first Indie Queen” by Uncut, whilst NME lauded the band for “putting Luxembourg on the map”.

Without stopping to catch a breath, Francis of Delirium undertook an extensive EU and UK tour, followed by 11 headline dates in the US and Canada, a huge set at Primavera Sound, and support slots for Alanis Morissette, bôa and Blondshell.
