cootie catcher
for fans of… The Unicorns, Animal Collective, The Beths

November 4th, 2026

Toronto four-piece cootie catcher exude both vulnerability and unbridled excitement, creating a sound that hypercharges the open-hearted tenderness of twee pop with spiraling synths and giddy electronics.

Their new album ‘Something We All Got’ is the clearest and most vibrant reading of cootie catcher’s vision yet, with songs of sweetness, nervousness, and expectancy that beam out unguarded.

Modern Woman
for fans of… PJ Harvey, Cat Power, Porridge Radio

October 28th, 2026

Modern Woman, the London art-rock outfit fronted by primary songwriter Sophie Harris, are set to release their anticipated debut album ‘Johnny’s Dreamworld’ on May 1st 2026 via their new label One Little Independent Records. ‘Johnny’s Dreamworld’ represents the culmination of Modern Woman’s journey from Harris’s early, intimate songwriting project into a full-bodied band capable of folding post-punk, avant-garde, and folk traditions into a live force of dynamic originality. At its heart, the record explores the strange poetry buried within the ordinary. Harris’s lyrics, steeped in literary detail and filmic atmosphere, draw from a fascination with the dark underbelly of the everyday and the contradictions of womanhood.

Nothing Speaks
Amongst Liars
Decrepit Youth

October 27th, 2026

Nothing Speaks is a 4 piece grunge metal band hailing from Edinburgh, Scotland. From massive riffs to crazy guitar solos, they are a force of high octane grunge power that has to be seen to be believed.

Amongst Liars is a Brighton based alternative hard rock band formed in 2021 Leo Burdett (guitar/lead vocals), Ross Towner (bass), Brummeo (synth/keys) and Adam Oarton (drums), combining alternative rock, grunge, metal & punk. A tight powerhouse of a band; urgent, questioning, loud and fierce. Recent gigs and support tours include Ayron Jones, Theory Of A Deadman, Dead Posey & Juliet’s Not Dead to name a few. 2026 rebirths the band with guitarist Leo announced as new lead vocalist.

Across their music, Decrepit Youths channel a raw and uncompromising energy. The six-piece fuse heavy, riff-driven foundations with synth-soaked textures, distortion-drenched soundscapes, and lyrics that cut deep into themes of self-sabotage and oppression. The result is a dark, explosive take on alt-rock that feels both visceral and unrestrained. Formed in the summer of 2023, the band made an immediate impact with their debut single ‘Loose Ends’, which was named Single of the Month by CRACK Magazine and picked up playlisting across two BBC Introducing shows. Their follow-up, ‘Kill The Lights’, pushed their sound further onto the national stage when it was championed by Alyx Holcombe on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show. Fronted by David Stoker and Connor Pattison, the band’s dual vocals drive their boundary-pushing sound, with each member adding their own edge to a collective chemistry that thrives on grit, chaos, and creativity.
