Glasshouse Red Spider Mite
Weatherman
September 14th, 2026
Glasshouse Red Spider Mite is a slow-core/rock band formed in Brighton by long-time friends Alex, Benji & Ethan, later joined by Cesca to complete the current line-up. They’re known for their melancholic & expansive blend of alt-rock/slow-core, demonstrated on the band’s debut EP ‘What Do You Mean The Monster?… Hahaha’, a release that saw them embarking on multiple UK tours, their first European dates, and playing to large crowds at End of The Road Festival.
‘Get in the car because I really wanna talk to you’ is the refrain from GHRSM’s “I’m Batman” that you’ll carry with you for at least a week after hearing it. You’ll find yourself humming it absent mindedly and constantly; the song is quietly a huge work, full of distinct sections that slowly bubble and rise towards a furious ending, no trace of cliche yet peppered with immediately quotable and resonant lines. You’d be bitterly wronging yourself and potentially stunting your entire life by not listening to them.
Immersion
for fans of… Wire, Stereolab, Boards of Canada
September 10th, 2026
Immersion are an electronic project led by Colin Newman (of Wire) alongside Malka Spigel (of Minimal Compact). Formed in the 1990s, Immersion explore atmospheric, rhythmic electronic music that sits between ambient, post-punk, dub and experimental sound design. Their work is textured and immersive (fittingly), often built on looping structures, layered synths and subtle rhythmic pulses rather than traditional song forms. In recent years, they’ve re-emerged with projects like Nanocluster, collaborating with artists from across indie and experimental scenes — bringing a more song-driven edge while keeping their hypnotic, transportive core intact.
Little Grandad
September 9th, 2026
Formed in 2025, Little Grandad’s songs sound like a sort of Venn diagram of rust-belt Americana, Brooklyn-informed slacker-rock, and warm yet ramshackle British indie guitar rock. It also sounds nothing like those things. It’s chaotic, teeters on the brink of collapse, but somehow hangs together. It’s properly exciting because you can’t put your finger on what it is, and neither can they.
A mainstay on the live scene, Little Grandad has fast become one of the most talked about new bands with a live show that’s equal parts chaos and chemistry.
