Birdvox is Sarah Hayes, founding member of Admiral Fallow; Inge Thomson, longtime collaborator of multi-award-winning Karine Polwart; Jenny Sturgeon, SAY Award-nominated solo artist and singer with alt-folk trio Salt House; and Charlotte Printer, who’s performed with Scottish pop icons Altered Images and Loyle Carner-collaborator Joesef.
Singing in Scots, Shetland dialect, old Norn and English, Birdvox distil their individual influences into a unique musical point of view and a joyful live experience – political disco, skewed-folk floor-fillers, avian electronica and hymns to humanity.
They join us this October following the release of debut album Shamming The Drama.
