MIXED BIZNESS Launch Night

May 2nd, 2009

Mixed Bizness is an affy bizzy night at the Art School in Glasgow run by Boom Monk Ben. His potent blend of electro, hip-hop, disco, breaks and thug house is the reason he’s on Solid Steel.

Impressed with the rep we think Sneaky Pete’s has rightfully been earning, Ben asked could we work together. After months of date wrangling and not a little engineering, finally Mixed Bizness has landed in Edinburgh.

Whilst the night will be hosting some big guests in the future, we thought it would be fun to get Ben to lay down the policy across the full 4 hours for the first night. And as an extra special treat: it’s FREE ENTRY.

YOUR TWENTIES + THE PLANES + SELLOTAPE

May 2nd, 2009

LONDON’S UBER-CHIC YOUR TWENTIES PLAY SNEAKY PETES ON MAY 2ND – TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW FROM TICKETWEB.CO.UK + RIPPING

*Support from BOYCOTTS + SPECIAL GUESTS*

Your Twenties and their music has melodies reminiscent of 60’s pop. Plenty of humable melodies (is that a word?) and catchy hooks

Check out a few songs on their MySpace profile. I cannot stop playing Caught Wheel. I like how it is a play on cart wheel. I wish I had some music of theirs to post or a video but seems like they are still in the demo phase.
