Fawkes are a band born from the ashes of previous projects.

This last year has seen the band working hard to rearrange their existing back catalogue, whilst writing and recording new material.

All forming part of this relaunch which will see the band be joined by a fourth member, once more.

To make this occasion even more special, the band are joined by Hugh Kelly on support. An Edinburgh born and raised talent who is currently in the midst of rebuilding his own material back up to play live.

After a packed launch night, discotia return to Sneaky Pete’s for a 5am festival residents party.

Flexing their heavyweight DJ roster, discotia take over Edinburgh’s eminent sweatbox for six hours of dancefloor fillers.

Made in Scotland Gigs is the music strand of the Made in Scotland showcase.

Hosted in partnership with Wide Days – Scotland’s Music Convention, Made in Scotland Gigs takes place on 15 of August at La Belle Angele + Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh.

Eight acts based in Scotland, from across the genre spectrum, will showcase to a public and industry audience.

Taking place across La Belle Angele and Sneaky Pete’s, the line up comprises: soulful singer/songwriter Cara Rose, indie-rockers Spyres, folk soloists Ferester and Pippa Blundell, alternative-indie inspired KuleeAngee, Scottish/Egyptian classical instrumentalists The Ayoub Sisters and the respective takes on alternative pop/psychedelic of Bottle Rockets and Man of Moon.

Important Information

Made in Scotland Gigs is a multi-venue event taking place in La Belle Angele and Sneaky Pete’s, tickets gain entry to both venues on a first-come-first-served basis. A queuing system will be in place once venues reach capacity so we recomend arriving in plenty of time to see artists.

Venue splits and timings will be announced early August.

Hospital Records’ Winslow originally hails from across the pond, and flew the flag for the US drum & bass family for a number of years before moving to Glasgow last year. Producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, composer, music teacher and tea enthusiast Winslow, found his roots in St. Louis, Missouri and has became a household in drum & bass with a slew of releases on the likes of Spearhead, Soulvent, Goldfat, Pilot and Hospital Records, Winslow’s meticulous attention to detail, strong penchant for forward-thinking melodies and his unique rhythmic identity have seen him turn gain support from from scene tastemakers including Mitekiss, High Contrast, Mr Porter, London Elektricity, Nu:Tone, Workforce, and upcoming September guest Degs.

First exploring his relationship with drum & bass through his love for video games and experimenting with production a couple of years prior, he has delved into the vast plethora of the genre’s different styles and whilst covering many styles, his productions are characterised by meticulously tight production and a strong penchant for melodies.

His set for us at the Bongo Club last year was absolutely killer and we can’t wait to have him join us for our 5am Festival Fringe series at Sneaky Pete’s this year!

3p Slot Machine are an experimental rock band composed of five students on the cusp of their twenties, their songs capture both child-like wonder and a wisdom beyond their years. Described as the “innovative court-jesters of the indie scene”, they carry with them an air of eccentric tom-foolery. But don’t be fooled: 3p Slot Machine are just as much able to produce sublimely sincere songwriting as they are mosh-inducing odes to chickpeas. The group has built a strong fan base attracted to their virtuoso instrumentation complete with samba percussion, lush three-part harmonies, lap steel and far-out freakbeat influences.

Michael Steele is a singer-songwriter from Edinburgh. His ” Into the heart of now ” e.p was released on Edinburgh label Paradise Palms records in 2022. Michael has featured on compilations from Huntely and Palmers, Paradise Palms and the Green Door studio Glasgow. Some years ago his albums were archived in the British museum Sound and moving images catalogue. His album Sweet Grass Visions, is out now. The new L.P. ” Mosaic” is out in 1st August.

Naomi Munn is an Indie rock singer/songwriter based in Edinburgh. Her latest New Earth EP was released in April 2024 featuring the singles ‘When you treat me like that’ and ‘The whole world revolves around Jack’. She’s supported acts like Fazerdaze and Quet houses and played her first headline show at Leith Depot in summer 2024. She draws inspiration from artists like Soccer Mommy and the Sundays.

For week two of the Fringe, we’re bringing a full night of disco from some of Edinburgh’s most trusted selectors.

All Night Passion take the headline slot with their signature mix of classic disco and deeper edits. The Swan steps in with a set built for the dancers, and Brody James ends the night with warm grooves and steady build.

RETIREMENT PARTY are emo party rockers from the windy city of Chicago.

Philadelphia’s CARLY COSGROVE graft vulnerable lyrics atop mathy rhythms, intricate guitar work and a penchant for indie-rock cool meets emo authenticity.
