Hospital Records’ Winslow originally hails from across the pond, and flew the flag for the US drum & bass family for a number of years before moving to Glasgow last year. Producer, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, composer, music teacher and tea enthusiast Winslow, found his roots in St. Louis, Missouri and has became a household in drum & bass with a slew of releases on the likes of Spearhead, Soulvent, Goldfat, Pilot and Hospital Records, Winslow’s meticulous attention to detail, strong penchant for forward-thinking melodies and his unique rhythmic identity have seen him turn gain support from from scene tastemakers including Mitekiss, High Contrast, Mr Porter, London Elektricity, Nu:Tone, Workforce, and upcoming September guest Degs.
First exploring his relationship with drum & bass through his love for video games and experimenting with production a couple of years prior, he has delved into the vast plethora of the genre’s different styles and whilst covering many styles, his productions are characterised by meticulously tight production and a strong penchant for melodies.
His set for us at the Bongo Club last year was absolutely killer and we can’t wait to have him join us for our 5am Festival Fringe series at Sneaky Pete’s this year!
