For October’s dance, we’re delighted to invite Glasgow’s Junglehussi to the sweatbox. We’ve been big fans of Matthew for ages, and he’s no stranger to radio, with regular contributions to our pals Clyde Built Radio, Subcity and Radio Buena Vida.
His set blew us away on a recent R&D trip to Optimo’s Watching Trees Festival (strictly business, you understand), and when he told us he’d never been to Sneaky Pete’s we knew we had to rectify that!
Expect big euphoric house numbers, vogue-y bits, R’n’B vocals, percussive dubby weirdness and much more. Tbh, Junglehussi can turn his hand to anything, so join us front left where we’ll be with our jaws on the floor.
Get down early for a rare warm-up from bossman and Mornings presenter St. Sunday.
Heron Valley are a six piece energy-fuelled trad band from Scotland, rooted in Scottish and Irish traditional music.
Very excited to be back in Sneaky’s and this time alongside Lola Haro!
This has been on the cards since 2019 and I’m really happy to finally be joined by Lola. Hailing from Antwerp, she has been making waves in Belgium and beyond for some time now and gaining recognition and bookings all over, with an especially busy summer this year.
A resident of Paradise City Festival while now launching her new label Small Steps (tip!!!), Lola Haro is in a good place!
B2B all night as standard. Come along!
Midnight Ambulance are an alternative rock duo from Scotland.
This year, they were shortlisted for BBC Introducing’s Scottish Act of the Year. Since the start of 2021, they have released three studio singles — ‘Black Gloves’, ‘5 AM’ and ‘Rust’ — which quickly gained the attention of national media. Features include: Apple Music ‘New in Rock’ playlist; BBC 6 Music Tom Robinson’s BBC Introducing Mixtape; BBC Radio Scotland (Vic Galloway & BBC Introducing); BBC Alba (Single of the Week); Amazing Radio (Jim Gellatly & Charlie Ashcroft) and The Scotsman on Sunday (Artist of the Week), which included a live performance on the Scotsman on Sunday’s award-winning ‘Scotsman Sessions’.
“Dark, powerful and mysterious.” Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
“Ominous, looming and with a real sense of menace, the duo conjure a unique atmosphere with Amelia’s heartfelt vocal and pounding drums front and centre, elegantly accompanied by Fraser’s playing and production. This is a serious opening salvo and promises greatness in whatever they do next. As a listener, I am excited and slightly scared!!” Vic Galloway, BBC Radio Scotland.
“Judging from the sheer quality of their first two releases, Midnight Ambulance are an exciting addition to Scotland’s music scene and we can’t wait to see what comes next.” Suzanne Oswald, Tenement TV
The Edinburgh Disco Lovers are delighted to welcome Manchester based collective and record label Good Custard to Sneaky Pete’s for their first Scottish appearance.
Through hosting monthly parties throughout Manchester, they have obtained multiple residencies across the city as well as hosting a number of their own day & night parties. They’ve brought many notable names to their events, including PBR Streetgang, Alan Dixon, DJ Paulette, Ladies on Mars, Pookie Nights and many more.
On supporting duties, we have Disco Lovers’ resident Dina going b2b2b with sisters Frankie Elyse and Jozette to kick off the night in style.
This event is in aid of The Welcoming – an Edinburgh based charity that helps integrate New Scots into the community, providing opportunities for friendship, sustainable living, creativity, healthy living and well-being.
Georgia Ellery and electronic producer Taylor Skye formed Jockstrap, with an intentionally crude name in stark contrast to their strange but sophisticated sounds. Ellery’s diaphanous songwriting and gentle vocals are disrupted by Skye’s harsh, unpredictable production. After releasing a handful of music independently, Jockstrap signed on with Warp (home of Aphex Twin) for the release of their 2020 EP Wicked City, which they toured on a series of sold out shows up and down the UK.
Red Room Sound launches its second event at Sneaky Pete’s in collaboration with Heaters. This time round, they’re bringing in award-winning producer/DJ Nikki Nair.
Nikki Nair has been making waves across both UK and US dance music scenes through his commitment to genre-blending experimentation and high-octane club cuts. His productions have been released on highly-regarded labels Scuffed Recordings, Banoffee Pies, Pretty Weird, Dirtybird and Astrophonica.
Last year he was named Breakthrough Producer of the Year at the 2021 DJ Mag awards and has since toured worldwide, including Boiler Room appearances in India and Canada.
Expect US/UK bass, electro, techno and rave.
SMIFF on support.

Unexpected viral stars FUR are “getting that balance where it doesn’t sound like a band from the ‘60s, it sounds like if a ’60s band were doing something modern. For some reason, even when we’d only written two songs, we already knew what FUR sounded like.” Without a label or famous friends, they’ve racked up millions of streams just by taking the age old love song and reinvigorating it, earning them critical plaudits from tastemakers such as Steve Lamacq and surprise fan Hugh Jackman. Their last show here sold out and since then they have supported Miles Kane and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
