Heaters // Hypnotikk:
Saachi

February 15th, 2023

Saachi is a London-based DJ whose sets are a focused blend of house, breaks, UK garage, bassline and electro (via a bunch of cheeky reloads for good measure).

A member of the prolific Daytimers collective, Saachi first caught our eye when her Yung Singh presents: Daytimers Boiler Room was tipped as one of the best mixes of the year by Mixmag. Since then she’s gone to tear it up all over London and beyond, racking up notable appearances at Corsica Studios, EarTH and festivals including GALA, Field Maneuvers and Lost Village.

Undoubtedly bound to blow the roof off here at Sneaks, she joins Hypnotikk for another midweek shindig at Heaters.

Gravedancer

February 15th, 2023

Hillbilly, NOT redneck! If you can’t tell the distinction, I prefer moonshine and skinny dipping over Coors Light and Nascar. Banjo’s and fiddles over Kid Rock. Yard full of feral dogs over yard full of rusted motors.

Hailing from the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas, I’m traveling the world to lyrically dump out my purse in public. Sometimes on my lonesome, sometimes with the backing band of some friends who are far more talented than me.

Gravedancer is what the music is called,  but ya’ll can call me Baker. The songs I write are generally sad in their nature, but don’t expect anything resembling a serious conversation out of me in person. C’est en sirop, couillon!
“”Arkansas’s finest dark, brooding and going-straight-to-hell modern country singer/songwriter…..a gravel-throated diamond of a voice alongside a menacing aura of danger. Beneath the subtle layers of traditional instrumentation and arrangements lies the beating heart of a stoner rock behemoth, emerging from battle with nothing bust trusty chords and stories to tell.”” – Derrick Johnston, Make That A Take Records

Sarah Gallagher
The Wispz
Gus Harrower

February 14th, 2023

Sarah Gallagher does not conform to any specific genre, taking inspiration from indie folk, anti-folk, pop and a bit of punk too. She is a silver tongued story teller with honest lyrics written from esoteric but relatable view points. Having toured the open mic scene in Edinburgh, she grew a cult following amongst locals, who responded to her humour, stage presence and original writing. Likened to KT Tunstall, Martha Wainwright and Jeffrey Lewis, Sarah’s lyrics are personal, shared through melodic harmonies deliberately disrupted by controlled anarchy, with a core of heart, humour and substance. Alongside her ‘fiddle-infused, toe tapping, clattering, storytelling band’ comprised of Scottish musicians, she is releasing the much awaited Debut Ep ‘ Awol ‘ in February 2023.

SILVI
Distant Images

February 11th, 2023

SILVI is an alternative soul/rock/pop vocalist and songwriter. After being named a “2022 one to watch” by various indie platforms SILVI played a multitude of venues and festivals across the UK including her debut headline show at the prestigious King Tuts in Glasgow. SILVI’s 5th single “Burning” further established her as an emerging artist in August 2022 when it was played on BBC one’s football focus to millions of viewers just 2 weeks after it was released. That same month she was a featured artist for The Scotsman and Xile Clothing. She now draws her attention to Edinburgh where she will open her 2023 shows with a headline at one of her favourite venues, Sneaky Petes.

With support from electronic indie duo Distant Images.
