Midland
April 28th, 2023
“Quietly, and without much fanfare, Midland has grown into one of the world’s best DJs” – Fact Magazine
MIDLAND our favourite fella returns this April.
From the carpeted dancefloors at Free Rotation, via regular slots at Berghain and Panorama Bar, Fabric, Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow and countless others, Midland is heralded for his attention to the craft and his genius ability to deliver classy yet raucous sets. There’s a perfect record for every moment, and he usually has it.
His multiple sellout nights here in the past go down as some of the very best ever. We’re delighted to have him back playing all night long.
Inkfields
Black Lilys
April 28th, 2023
Inkfields began in Dresden, Germany with a spontaneous after work street music experiment. It has since led Samuel (the creator) through Sweden, into Southern Germany (Baden Württemberg) and finally to Edinburgh, Scotland, where he’s currently based.
The music has been forged through thousands of hours of street music across dozens of cities in Europe. From -12 degrees to +40 degrees, through rain, snow, wind and sun, Samuel has been out in all weathers.
The very way he writes and performs has been sculpted through what has often been a tough, but rewarding life on the road.
Over the years the music has journeyed through different genres and matured with time. With the release of the second album ‘The Third Side of the Coin’, it seems that Samuel has finally found ‘the sound’ he was searching for.
‘Glorious offering’ Jim Gellatly, Amazing Radio
‘Relaxing guitar and an extraordinary voice’ Jens Fröhlich, Südkurier Zeitung
‘Lyrically strong and musically impressive’ Bettina Bergstedt, Darmstädter Echo
BLACK LILYS is a French sibling duo. They produce bright timeless music that balances both strength and vulnerability, a smooth blend between Robin’s driving guitar melodies and Camille’s effortless, raspy vocals.
Their second album NEW ERA, mixed by Odd Martin (known for his collaborations with AURORA and SIGRID) was written in Scotland, where the siblings had decided to isolate themselves before finishing the recording process by the French mountains.

Megan Black
The Tropicanas
Joi Mowbray
April 27th, 2023
Scotland’s ‘Hippy-Dippy Drag Queen’, Megan Black, first made waves in the Scottish music scene when shortlisted for BBC’s Singer-Songwriter of the Year Award in 2019. She has since released a single which was claimed to be ‘one of the top 5 singles of 2020’. Now having released her debut album ‘Deadly is the Woman’ in April this year, Megan holds nothing back: giving true exploitation of identity, sexuality, expression, love, loss, pain, and everything in between. Megan’s unapologetic vision incorporates vintage sounds from blues rock and jazz. ‘With the kind of gritty, alluring vocal ability that recalls icons like Stevie Nicks and Alannah Myles’. Megan explores themes of gender, sexuality and mental health which underpin the album, creating a powerful sonic bridge between her 70s-influenced sound and contemporary views on feminism and the LGBTQ+ community.
