The Phantom Project formed in 2019, playing their first gig when venues began reopening for live music in 2021. The group’s first release’s were the demos ‘Broken Fingers’ and ‘Fallen Times’, following with their debut single ‘Ink On Paper’ that dropped in September 2022. The up and coming band truly kicked off their career with a bang with each release being well produced, full of energy and an incredible addition to any playlist.

Edinburgh raised duo ‘VAULT’ are making their homecoming show with an all night special at the esteemed ‘Sneaky Pete’s’ after an explosive first year throwing parties all across Glasgow from SWG3 to La Cheetah.

Buckle in for a multi-genred marathon set like no other where the boys will take you on a journey through disco, house, techno, trance, garage, eurodance and more… you absolutely do not want to miss this one.

Super French is an indie funk band from Edinburgh. The band formed in March 2023 when Ross King (vocals) played an open mic night hosted by Darren McElvar (guitar). The two sensed a musical connection and struck up an immediate partnership. A few weeks later, while attending a local meet-up for musicians, Ross met Carlos Fitzpatrick (bass) and Jakob Gueye (drums), who formed the rhythm section. Together, the four bring together funk, soul, and songwriting, in a unique and energetic blend of original songs guaranteed to bring the house down. They quickly sold out their first headline in Leith and have been tipped for summer shows at the Fringe and Glasgow’s King Tut’s.

Declan Gibson is an artist imbued with the spirit of the beat generation. His performances are wild and untamed, like the open road that calls to the restless heart. Lyrically, Gibson evokes a sense of wanderlust and rebellion, urging the listener to break free from the chains of conformity and embrace the unknown. It is a call to follow the heart, no matter where it may lead, and to find solace in the arms of a kindred spirit.

Brothers Nick and Peter Furgiuele are the constant creative force of Gringo Star, and have outlasted wave after wave of buzz bands and indie blog darlings, carving their own career path through constant reinvention and an unparalleled work ethic, amassing a loyal and enthusiastic international fanbase along the way.

Their mind-bending take on doo-wop inspired R&B and British Invasion rock & roll has garnered praise from the likes of Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound, Paste Magazine, KEXP & more, and landed them on bills alongside everyone from Cat Power and Feist to The Black Angels and Weezer, not to mention tours with Wavves, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, and their Atlanta-based contemporaries Black Lips.

Wiki has been a fixture of New York City hip-hop since he founded the boundary-defying group Ratking at just 17 years old, whose aggressive style represented a new generation of city kids and artists hungry for innovation and raw energy.

In the years since he went solo, Wiki’s storytelling as the city’s young OG has never been more vivid, solidifying his role in carrying the torch for NYC’s master MCs.

The cult rapper’s sharp tongue and self-reflection put him in good company among peers like Earl Sweatshirt and Navy Blue, who feature on Wiki’s latest album Half God. The album sees a wise and angry Wiki revealing what it’s like to come of age in the city, painting lyrical pictures of the way it shapes, hardens and prematurely ages you.

The album received rave reviews, with Pitchfork declaring “the New York rappers’ latest is one of his greatest.”

Following a hot sellout show at Sneaky Pete’s and a string of European dates with Slowthai, Wiki returns to Edinburgh in June.

Nuclear Vortex was originally a concept created by Barny Gordon in 2018. One year later, he realised his dreams by recruiting the first lineup of the band, a short-lived musical concoction which was soon flattened by the national lockdown and personal differences. In 2022, original members Barny Gordon and Freddie Pusch dug Nuclear Vortex out of its grave for a semi-reunion, with 2 new members joining the effort.

This new incarnation meant business right from the start. They began to record their debut album, Missile Silo, for which the final production stages are underway. It packs a veritable punch! The band have since been performing locally to hype the album’s release, which is scheduled for this year. Nuclear Vortex will lift the roof off Sneaky Pete’s on the 26th June 2023
