Tara Clerkin Trio are Pat Benjamin, Sunny Joe Paradisos and Tara Clerkin, three musicians involved in a number of cult Bristol bands over the years before confidently settling down in triangle formation. They are inspired by and borrow from jazz, trip hop, electronica, psychedelia & minimalism, twirling the non-pretentious strands of these threads together into a trippy green winged-cloak, adorning Arthur Russell and dripping in blue jam.
If you’ve been anywhere near the UK’s underground music scene lately, you’ve probably heard of Hayley Zalassi.
Known for her infectious energy and expert command of the decks, the dubbed ‘Queen of Scottish House Music’ blends deep, soulful house with minimal, trance and techno influences. Expect powerful vocals, piano hooks, and a touch of euphoric energy that’ll leave you buzzing.
Having shared the stage with the likes of Kerri Chandler (even going b2b at Sub Club’s legendary New Year’s Day party!), Ricardo Villalobos, Mr. G, and Fatboy Slim, as well as racking up plays at Pikes Ibiza, Fabric, Warehouse Project and beyond, she’s spreading her musical magic far and wide.
Drawing on a range of influences from Adrianne Lenker to Mac DeMarco, Edinburgh’s Jack Caldwell combines twangy indie-folk with confessional, witty lyricism, hinting at the emo music he devoured as a teenager. His first album, Four Four, is a collection of 10 songs encapsulating the shakiness and uncertainty of early adulthood, written and recorded in his bedroom over the course of the last two and a bit years.
Award winning singer-songwriter Mike McKenzie will be bringing a full band show to Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh on Sunday 10th November with support from Erin O’Callaghan. Joined by Marty Hailey on bass (Ronan Keating, Robbie Williams) and Matt Arnott on drums (Cathal Murphy, Calum Macphail) Mike will be sharing music from his upcoming debut album as well as reimagined versions of his releases so far.
New on the scene, this exciting Anglo/Irish band is already being compared to the sensational Lankum.

Adam Summerhayes (fiddle), Cormac Byrne (bodhrán) and Murray Grainger (accordion) are acclaimed, high-level improvisers, adept at producing ever-changing, flowing soundscapes, while new-comer, Molly Donnery, lets her inimitable and infectious voice flow, with fragility and power in equal measure – naturally adapting to the contours of the music created in the moment. As the band themselves say about their songs: “We let our imaginations run free with these old favourites” and the result is breathtaking, ambitious and visceral.
