MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS
May 6th, 2010
One of Australia’s favourite sons, Midnight Juggernauts play 20 shades of twistedly danceable rock music. They’ve built a rock-solid live reputation, supporting Justice across America, and playing some of the world’s finest festivals. Since they frequently sell out venues many times our size, we certainly advise purchasing advnace tickets.
Following the release of their highly acclaimed debut album, Dystopia, Midnight Juggernauts shift the focus to album number two with the release of their new single ‘This New Technology’.??An epic journey through time and the afterlife, ‘This New Technology’ refuses to travel along the straight and narrow. Instead the track moves through 70s pop to Morricone soundscapes, dark driving toms to lush washed out jams, lo-fi to hi-fi, progrock to krautrock, Eno to ecstasy, the Roses to Rafferty…it’s pop but not as you know it. Produced by Midnight Juggernauts, the track was recorded at Melbourne’s Sing Sing Studios by Christopher Moore (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, Liars) and mixed by Andy Baldwin.

teamFUDGE presents A TORN MIND + Deadloss Superstar
April 30th, 2010
Charity gig to raise money for the Mongol Rally – check out www.teamfudge.com for details!
This summer, teamFUDGE will be driving from Scotland to Mongolia in what will frankly be a rubbish little car. Not like Ewen McGregor or Top Gear, who have endless support vehicles and 5-star hotels to kip in, it’ll just be teamFUDGE, their wee car and the road. And hopefully very few epically hideous spiders. It’ll be 4 weeks of sleeping in the car in scorching heat, 10 to 12 hours of driving a day and eating goats testicles. But it’s OK cos it’s all for charity!!
Amidst all the high profile earthquake appeals, it seems the plight of the Mongolians has been lost. They are currently enduring one of the worst winters so far this century, thanks to a phenomenon known as Zud, which occurs when severely cold winters of below -50C are preceded by dry summers that preclude sufficient grazing. It’s estimated that 3 million livestock will die by June, which would be devastating for a county that relies so heavily on their cattle, horses, sheep and yaks.
teamFUDGE are supporting the following charities – MercyCorp, Christina Noble Children’s Foundation, Childen & Young People’s Protection & Development and Cancer Research UK.
A Torn Mind – catch groove-laden student rock from Edinburgh

Deadloss Superstar – stoner punk metal gubbins from Aberdeen
