MAGIC 10 SPECTACULAR!!!

Due to exclusivity rights relating to the Wickerman festival, Vandal has sadly been barred by both the festival and his agency from playing at Coalitions 3rd birthday this Sunday. Sam sends his sincere apologies and has promised to return as soon as his schedule allows.

Now we could hang our heads and wallow in pity but we’ve decided to go out on a limb, keep the birthday party alive and try something completely different. 10 of Coalition’s closest allies and long standing residents have stepped up and agreed to make the 3rd birthday one to remember. Each hammering out half an hour of their best, we’re going to attempt to host 10 DJs in a marathon 4 hours, spanning all genres played at Coalition over the past 3 years. Featuring…

After nearly three years of Friday night parties, DEFINITION moves to Saturday nights at Sneaky Pete’s, however that’s the only change as we continue to focus on providing a great selection of electronic music for the dancefloor.

Our first Saturday event see’s Karnival Resident Matt Edwards return to the Definition turntables. After an outstanding stint behind the decks at his Definition debut in early 2009, we knew we had to have him back. Since we last had him on, he’s played alongside the likes of Funk d’Void, Digitalism and Tom Middleton, but its his own particular brand of forward looking house and techno that really impresses us and gets us down early to Karnival to hear him play before the big name headliners.

Matt is joined by Definition residents Mark Balneaves & Martin Lightbody who will be mixing up the best underground dance music they can find across 4 decks, fx units and laptops for your dancing pleasure.
