ARCHES are an anthemic rock band from Glasgow featuring the astounding vocalist Michael Rice (ex Yashin), guitarist Barry Morrell (ex Young States), drummer Niall McGarvie (Jocasta Sleeps), guitarist David Johnstonand bassist Andrew Johnston.

The band have already had support from Radio One and Kerrang and have featured as Artist of The Week twice in as many weeks. The success of the bands early material saw the video for ‘Like Fireworks’ reach more than 10,000 views and the rise was topped off by a sold out show at Stereo in Glasgow.

Latest video ‘Turn It Up’ is now featuring on Kerrang TV and they have already confirmed live sessions for Radio One and Kerrang for 2012.

Massive things are expected from Arches as their debut album is ready to hit the UK next year.

Sepalcure’s combination of love for bass and 90s house acapellas is the culmination of a cathartic two week collaboration between Travis Stewart (Machinedrum) and Praveen Sharma (Praveen & Benoît). Their mix of tribal dub, house and two step beats works equally well for both late nights in the club and rainy, introspective nights at home. Detroit techno chords cut through wooden beats, neon synths and dubbed out atmospherics.

Marionettes play frantic indie pop music with a punk-driven edge, and it is played loud. Specialists in melodic hook-based tunes with frenzied tempos, coupled with cutting social commentary.

Having circulated Scotland’s music scene since 2007, Marionettes have developed their sound and supported the likes of The Joy Formidable, Errors, 1990s, The Wave Pictures, The Parlotones, Sky Larkin, The Ordinary Boys and Japanese Voyeurs to name but a few.
