MT WOLF, Atom Tree, Roy’s Iron DNA
November 8th, 2013
One of the most talked about bands of 2012 and Clash magazine’s ‘One’s To Watch 2013’, Mt. Wolf shot to critical acclaim after the release of their debut EP ‘Life Size Ghosts’ last October. Despite only forming in 2012 the South London four-piece have already sold-out headline shows at Union Chapel, XOYO and Corsica Studios.
Their sound has been described as a cinematic fusion of both folk and electronica, mixing the more ethereal branches of folk music à la Bat For Lashes with a touch of Purity Ring-esque electronica.
“This new British four-piece have had bloggers in a frenzy over the past year with the release of their debut EP’s, Life Size Ghosts and Hypolight. Vocalist KateSproule’s ethereal tones and the band’s dreamy electronic-folk sound is surely destined for great things.” – London Evening Standard
“Opening the gates for ‘dreamfolk’, Mt. Wolf have set critics eulogising their psychflavoured, trippy folkish-electronica sound.Sigur Rós-like ethereal soundscapes and sensual vocals spread over four-minute-plus opuses make for one big intoxicating aural bliss-out from this London-based quartet.” – Clash

On the eve of the eve of all things hallowed, the beast will rise again. From the makers that brought you Haunted Acid House comes HAUNTED ACID HOUSE 2: AULD FREEKIE’S EVE.
We’re back on the 303 soundwaves to bring you the same chaos we brought last year within the confines of the darkest dungeon of Sneaky Pete’s, the most cheerful pit the city offers. Sit back and buckle in for the (horror) ride of your life, it’s going to get SPOOOOOOOOOOKY tonight.
