As an accomplished pianist, who recently added the guitar to her portfolio of skills, Rebecca now has almost one hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube and nearly twenty-five million people viewing her work, over six-hundred thousand per month.

Described as a mix between Lana Del Ray, Adele and a female Tom Odell, Rebecca uses social media such as Facebook and Twitter to communicate with her supporters, while taking a keen interest in the views of those who have followed her every career move.

Shearing only started writing songs at the age of 18, stating ‘she had found something to write about by then’. With many live performances throughout the United Kingdom under her belt, and interviews both in the United Kingdom and abroad, Rebecca is slowly breaking down the barriers that surround many manufactured acts. Hard work and a fiery determination have given Rebecca recognition throughout the industry. It is only now a matter of time before that recognition is developed into even more success.

Born in Ayrshire in the West of Scotland, Rebecca has just gained a First Class Honours Degree in Popular Music at Napier University in Edinburgh.

It’s the first Juice of the festival and this year we got Tim & Barry from Don’t Watch That/Just Jam to kick things off.

A.k.a. The guys behind the UK live music video stream (That isn’t the cringey crowd fodder one) with the constant fresh DJ’s and Live Acts from all over the globe, not to forget the insane trippy visuals.

Nearly half of the guests we’ve had at Juice or have wanted to book have played there, so we must be kinda on the same page music-wise right?

Over the years Just Jam has been pivotal in supporting new & upcoming artists by giving them a vessel to play sets out live from their small London Studio, streaming out for all bleep heads in the UK to ask TRACK ID MATE??

So evidently these guys are used to small barmy crowds and have an insight to all the hottest Club tracks of the moment making this a perfect match and another solid night at Sneaky Pete’s

Slow Magic is just as the name suggests: a sparkling rainbow of youth wrapped in gossamer melodies, airy synths and ambiguous, looping vocals echoed in the world of make-believe.

Bill Brewster wrote the book on DJing.

He traced the origins of dance music for the classic Last Night A DJ Saved My Life, and co-wrote the DJ’s bible How To DJ Properly. He’s known for outstanding House, Disco, Northern Soul and Hip Hop sets at his Low Life parties and elsewhere all around the world.

Firecracker Records boss Lindsay Todd, aka House of Traps, helms his mighty label with style. Known as home to Linkwood and Fudges Fingas, it’s a label with cred that’s been growing for a decade.

In more recent years Lindsay’s garnered much respect for his own productions, and how he lays down thick downbeat grooves that seriously work dancefloors.

His preference is for long sets – the kind he plays in spots like Panorama Bar – and we’ve got a full six hours for him and Bill to really take us on a journey. Warming up is important so get down early!
