Belako are a group from the town of Munguía in Spain, where punk and post-punk’s relevance has never faded. The two girls and two guys are barely over 21 but have made waves at home already, playing major festivals like Primavera and Low. They have an EP on seminal UK label Cooking Vinyl coming, so we can expect to hear a lot more of them from here on.

Fresh from his releases on Sweden’s legendary Börft and his own Sex Tags Mania label, Norwegian DJ Sotofett takes to the decks at Sneaky Pete’s in May. The founder of the Sex Tags Mania & Amfibia imprints alongside his brother, and previous Wasabi Disco guest DJ Fett Burger. Their releases span house, techno, disco, afro funk, dub-reggae and everything else in between. Renowned for his wild, individual sets, the man has an exhilarating way of making far-out music both danceable and uplifting. We are very happy to have him play in Edinburgh for the first time! Not to be missed!

Stockholm’s Samo DJ continually sabotages the model with distinctive productions that fearlessly compact a myriad of demented ideas with a twisted Scandinavian cheek. One-half of Sling & Samo and co-founder of their label Born Free, Samo also creates faux-fantasy original soundtracks with MaxxxBass as KWC 92, while studio time with Tzu Sing, Baba Stiltz and Cos/Mes further transmutes his sound.
Responsible for multiple standout L.I.E.S. releases, Samo’s tweaked out edits and remixes have also been issued by Public Possession, Macadam Mambo and Klasse Wrecks.
