Honestly we’d host NTS Radio’s DJ Moxie every week if we could, but until that day this is her NINTH appearance at the club, and we expect the usual absolute sellout mayhem. ust as well we’ve repaired the air conditioning!
Moxie has always helped us get to know DJs that should be on our radar. Past guests include Shanti Celeste and Josey Rebelle, and now we’re stoked to get to know Louise Chen.
Louise is coming over from Paris especially, where she is absolute queen of everything and the go-to local for adding class to a bill. She’s recently played with Madlib, Neneh Cherry, Honey Soundsystem, Motor City Drum Ensemble… and has been held in the highest regard for at least eight years. You absolutely NEED TO GET TO KNOW THIS BRILLIANT DJ!
London’s L.A. Salami (Lookman Adekunle Salami) crafts magnetic blues-rock songs with a postmodern twist. He has released records on Domino and Rob Da Bank’s Sunday Best label. He is a romantic, a storyteller, and a troubadour.
Lookman writes songs because he has thoughts worth sharing, and his direct delivery and charm lift both the prosaic and obscure into the universal. His is a poetry of the everyday that tells us what’s really going on in these strange times.
Support sets from brilliant local singer/songwriters Faith Eliott and Ciaran McGhee.
A new weekly night with a danceable mix of music made by bands, cutting across genre, age and nation.
Jason Kendig steps into the Sneaky Pete’s booth for a Wednesday packed full of the finest dance music.
Detroit born and inspired Jason Kendig first carved out a name for himself as a resident at Motor Lounge in the 90s. Since then Jason’s delivered a series of notable releases, held down a Smart Bar residency, toured the world and – of course – been killing it with the esteemed Honey Soundsystem!
Support from Heaters’ C-Shaman.

Kebu sends his apologies that he has had to cancel this show due to poor health. He hopes to reschedule for 2019. All ticket buyers will be issued refunds.
Kebu (alias Sebastian Teir) from Finland is a bright comet in the world of synthesizer music, who recently won the German Schallwelle Award as Best Artist 2017. He is known for his YouTube videos, which have gathered over 25 million views and fans from all around the globe:
Kebu is a true synthesizer wizard, whose music is distinguished not only by a dedicated treatment of analogue synthesis but also of an audience-captivating live performance. His concerts radiate warmth and joy and show off a huge arsenal of analogue synths, which brings to mind the best solo synthesizer artists from the 1970’s and 1980’s. Indeed, Swedish Gaffa.se said in a rave review of one of Kebu’s gig that “Jarre’s successor has arrived”.
Following the release of “Perplexagon”, which debuted as number 6 on the Finnish album charts, Kebu has toured Europe and given over 70 concerts in eleven different countries. The concert in Oslo was recorded for a two-hour long live album (CD & DVD), which will be released by ZYX Music in autumn 2018. This autumn, Kebu embarks on a new Europe tour to support the release of the new live album. On this tour, a few new tunes from his upcoming studio album will be introduced as well.

9 years = 468 Soul Jams (or there abouts), hundreds of sketchy excuses for missing work, thousands of Jägerbombs, many ‘Only You’s (Steve Monite and Teddy Pendergrass combined, for the heads), probably too many Jamiroquai’s and definitely not enough Amerie’s.
To help us celebrate, we’ve invited up two pals called Chris from South London to play. They’re a great laugh, and have released records on Rhythm Section, Church and our very own Lionoil Industries (of course). It’s gonna be healthy.
Balloons, cake (maybe), party hats, jagerbombs, hangovers & disco. What more could you want at a 9th birthday party…
£3 / 5 advance – don’t miss!
‘You, Forever’ is the masterwork second album that has brought Sam Evian from Brooklyn to these shores. It is one of our absolute favourites of the year, we’ve played it so often we think it might just be an all time classic: a record that you’d love as much in ‘68, ‘78 and ‘88 as in 2018.
Sam spins out langourous classic rock and and great American songwriting that’s both melancholic and calmly reassuring. His gossamer-thin voice makes you listen close, and your attention is rewarded many-fold.
A must-see show for fans of Andy Shauf, Neil Young, Ryan Adams, Lambchop and even Thin Lizzy… you’ve just gotta dive in to see what we mean.
