Heaters // RAMZi + 12th Isle

July 31st, 2019

Ready to rumble into a whirlwind night of boundary pushing music..

~ RAMZi & 12th Isle at Sneaky Pete’s ~

Canada’s RAMZi creates and purveys otherworldly sounds, overtly different and intriguing (now under an array of aliases). With sets characterised by a ‘psychoactive’ style, RAMZi guides dancefloors out their element and into a new dimension.

Glasgow’s formidable 12th Isle join the affair. A crew pioneering experimental sounds, intricate artwork and fearless bangers, this label and residents represent one of the most exciting collectives doing bits right now.

Billy Mitchell + Vuromantics + Jumanji

July 31st, 2019

Off Axis is non-profit gig swapping and touring network, organising concerts in over 83 towns and cities across the UK. To coincide with the stage at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival on Thursday 1 August 2019, Off Axis have set up a series of tour dates starting at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Pete’s on Wednesday 31 July.

BILLY MITCHELL

Thanks to support slots with fellow Dundonian band The View, and opening for Liam Gallagher (on his 2017 arena tour, as part of Kyle Falconer’s band) Billy Mitchell has built a large and loyal fanbase. He’s been championed by The Scotsman, Amazing Radio and The Sun, clocked up in excess of 150,000 Spotify streams and recently signed a deal with Assai Records (with stores in Dundee and Edinburgh) to release his debut EP later this year. Billy and band perform at Kendal Calling with Off Axis on 28 July.

JUMANJI

The young Brighton band have been played on Phil Taggart’s Radio 1 show, and featured in the promo video for his new book ‘The Slackers guide to the music industry.’ They’ve toured the UK a couple of times supporting Fickle Friends and Indigo Velvet. Over 200,000 Spotify streams, and sold-out shows in their hometown, their fanbase is growing both on and offline. It’s no surprise Jumanji are appearing on various ones to watch lists this year.
