Imperial Wax are the final and longest-serving members of The Fall, minus Mark and with new tunes.
Anyone intimate with The Fall’s working method will know that the genus of much Fall music came from instrumental musicians, so it’s no surprise to know that Imperial Wax are absolutely brilliant.

Prolifically putting out tasteful mixes, covering sounds from across the dance music spectrum it was only a matter of time till he was let loose on the sweat box. He sets the scene for Wednesday’s chief evangelist, C-Shaman. Expect a heady mix of all things weird and wonderful.

SCOTTISH alt.blues troubadour Dave Arcari’s returns from his latest USA tour for this Edinburgh show.
His alt.blues sounds owe as much to trash country, punk and rockabilly as they do pre-war Delta blues and have been showcased via ten internationally-acclaimed solo CD releases.

Soul Jam turns 10 years old! That’s 520 Tuesdays, 2,200 hours of dancing, at least 1200 Jägerbombs, 26,000 songs (lots of Teddy Pendergrass) and plenty of difficult Wednesdays.
To celebrate, we’re inviting some of our friends to take us all the way up to NYE, which will be the LAST EVER Soul Jam on a Tuesday, after which we are excited to be taking up a coveted monthly weekend slot at Sneaks.
This week, expect global sounds from two newcomers who have been keen Soul Jammers for some time join in the action this week. Mediterranean stud muffin Marieddu & Lebanese born Middle Eastern music aficionado Hiba both recently took up DJing via quality shows on EH-FM, and we’re delighted to have them along with the funk wares to Soul Jam.

LEZZGGOO.
For fans of Homeshake, D’Angelo, Shuggie Otis, Conan Mockasin.
Cool kids outta Brighton making woozy pop of the cool and danceable variety. We saw them at The Great Escape festival this year and were very impressed – one to see live!
Cap’n Goodtimes takes advantage of a last minute cancellation at Sneaks to play for the Monday night warriors.
So what if it’s a school night? Live a little, nerd.

Believe presents the best in bass DJs from Edinburgh at his weekly Sunday communion. Always fresh, always free.
Bristolian six-piece Cousin Kula met on the city’s progressive jazz scene and very quickly found themselves all living in a house together, rehearsing incessantly in their basement.
They bonded over their shared love for an incredibly eclectic range of music, all of which rear their heads in the band’s mind-bending fusion sound – at once sun-drenched pop and kaleidoscopic psyche with air-tight prog licks and infectious afrobeat-inspired rhythms.
We caught Cousin Kula at this year’s Great Escape Festival and had to pick our jaws up from the floor after their show. They are a seriously impressive band – one for the music ‘heads’ and the dancers.
Definition is Sneaky Pete’s longest running club night. Expect underground house and techno inspired by the likes of Sonar, Berghain, Fabric and Pressure from our residents Mark Balneaves (EH-FM) and Marty Lightbody, who has released on labels including Rebel Eye, The Warrior Recordings and Deep Trauma Music.
