ANNA SWEENEY

“I can hear this all over Radio 1” – Vic Galloway, BBC Introducing
“Glorious” – Nicola Meighan, BBC Scotland

Anna Sweeney has had a special 2019. The release of singles “Way Back When” and “Change the Way I Dress”, both championed by BBC Radio Scotland, saw her take her first steps into an exciting new level of momentum. Her sparkling live shows rained hook-laden “proper pop” all year, including at Austin’s SXSW festival and King Tut’s Summer Nights Festival. Anna prides herself on skilful songwriting and attention to detail, and draws influence from pop heavyweights such as HAIM, Taylor Swift and Robyn. Catch her last show of the year at Sneaky Pete’s on Dec 28th!

NEON SEAS:

Neon Seas are an alt-pop band formed in Glasgow, at the beginning of 2018. Founded by members Davey Purdie, Samantha Kelly and Calum Brown. Dancing between different musical themes inspired by genres such as synthpop, shoegaze, electronica and post-punk, the band aims to bring something unique to the table.

MAN OF THE MINCH

“Forward-thinking folk music” – Rolling Stone

“Man of the Minch” is the aquatic alias of Glasgow based queer galactic folk-pop act and multi-instrumentalist Pedro Cameron. Drawing on lyrical themes of life and loves as a member of the LGBT community, the Man of the Minch sound blends sparkling electronic elements with rootsy Americana and traditional Celtic sounds. 2019 has been a bumper year for Man of the Minch, with the release of his double A side singles “Undertow” and “Better Off Alone” garnering extensive radio airplay and acclaim, including being named one the Top Country/Americana Songs to Hear Now by Rolling Stone magazine.

Dootchi plus Support

December 27th, 2019

Scottish Foursome Dootchi have been inspired from the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, Royal Blood, and Red Hot Chili Peppers to create fuzzed out sound waves with a hint of elegance, and beauty mixed in, then adding some synth to this mix gives you the Dootchi sound. Playing together since high school, Dootchi always give a high energy performance with intense riffage, wild drum solos, and thrashing heads, while also slowing things down for a more intimate setting at points.
