Fresh off the release of their first album in 8 years, the captivating “Late Night Conversations With God”, Scottish/English emotive indie rock band hit the road as part of a 5 Date Scottish Tour.Where do I begin with this album? If you’re looking for the pop punk/emo version of The Smiths – this could be it. The guitar lines are subtle, yet well thought out. The drums pace the album well. The vocals are the star for me – something about them reminds me of Morrissey. They are dramatic, but not overly so. They are adventurous without being distracting. It’s time for the first Aquelarre of the year.

On this occasion, we’re hosting local talent Lonely Carp, a conceptual artist and experimental musician who draws from industrial and neoclassical influence to express the raw complexity of a lived trans experience. Music director of Spit It Out and host of Constantly Failing show on EHFM, an account of the abrasive noise and music that has accompanied her life events as a trans artist.

Lonely Carp will deliver a live art performance with an electric double bass and keys within the first hour of the night. Mixing field recordings, noise and queer industrial music.

Pako Vega, head shaman of Aquelarre and label Sounds Of Ogigia, will be crafting his unique mix of trippy leftfield, heavy electro beats and dark synths for the rest of the night.

Celebrating St. Paddy’s day in style, Greenhouse Records returns for our first dance of 2022! Honouring the occasion we’re delighted to announce Berlin-based DJ Lux will be joining the party, making her Sneak’s debut!

Emerging from Leipzig’s flourishing club scene, where she’s held residencies at Institut Fuer Zukunft & Conne Island, Lux has gained international recognition from DJs and dancers for her ability to create completely unique atmospheres through diverse and sophisticated selections. Inspired by the sounds of Detroit and the UK Lux never fails to find the sweet spot between the melancholic and the energizing. She’s got a knack for plunging a dancefloor into a subtle mode of listening or an 808 bass drum frenzy, regularly hypnotising dance floors at venues like About Blank, The Berghain/Panorama Bar, De school & Institut Fuer Zukunft…Next up Sneaky Pete’s!

hypnotikk come through with another Heaters takeover with a rare appearance from Shotta Tapes’ Tom Boogizm.

Already legendary throughout Greater Manchester and beyond, Tom Boogizm shape-shifts across a sonic palette that spans ragged techno, electro and industrial, through to mutant dancehall, grime and jungle.

With his sights trained squarely on raves of all shapes and sizes, he’s also curated some of Manchester’s best parties in the form of Shotta Raves and A Party Called, playing alongside Anz, Chunky, Finn, Felix Hall, Sockethead and many more.

His recent Fact Mix was labelled “Yet more proof that Tom Boogizm is one of the very best to ever do it.”, this is going to be wild.

We are giving non-House and non-Techno, Disco not Disco, band-driven music a fresh pair of Sneaks. Inspired by the vibrant Scottish and Dutch club culture, the Edinburgh/Bratislava based Bali G represents a style full of playful rhythms and eclectic melodies, which span across continents and eras.

Nurtured by the diversity of Amsterdam’s record stores, Bali delights in blending obscure Disco, Funk or Latin beats with heavy synth basslines and hard-hitting house, never ceasing to provide food for the brain and soul.

Maastricht’s Yin Yin explore the potentialities of the psychedelic, danceable South East Asian music from the 60’s and 70’s, blending disco, funk, electro from all over the world into a unique type of genre.

Sending it into the start of next week every Sunday at Sneaky Pete’s. Showcasing the very best of local talent with some extra special guests along the road too. Time to start taking Monday mornings off…
