July 28th, 2022

We’re delighted to have Anna Gram joining the Disco Lovers, alongside power duo Glasgow Party Scum, for the third edition of the ITALO SPACE ODYSSEY.

Anna Gram is a resident of Glasgow’s SHOOT YOUR SHOT and forms the duo Lezzer Quest with SYS’ founder Bonzai Bonner. In the past few years, Anna has been churning out some almighty productions that have featured on Radio 1’s Dance Introducing with Jaguar, as well as being signed by Hammer’s label ‘Remmah’ and Benjamin Fro?hlich’s ‘Permanent Vacation’. No doubt we expect a cosmic trip of hi-NRG, eurodance and more – it’s going to be a cracker.

Warming up we have Glasgow Party Scum, made up of Joe Varela and Charlotte Tuesday, who are no strangers to wonderful selections. They have been building a name for themselves in Glasgow’s local scene through their italo nights at Berkeley Suite and Broadcast.

This event is in aid of LGBT Youth Scotland – profits to be donated.

See you in the Cosmos. <3

Wiki + Oyakhire + Conscious Route
for fans of… Ratking, The Alchemist, Earl Sweatshirt

July 27th, 2022

Wiki has been a fixture of New York City hip-hop since he founded the boundary-defying group Ratking at just 17 years old, whose aggressive style represented a new generation of city kids and artists hungry for innovation and raw energy. In the years since he went solo, Wiki’s storytelling as the city’s young OG has never been more vivid, solidifying his role in carrying the torch for NYC’s master MCs.

The cult rapper’s sharp tongue and self-reflection put him in good company among peers like Earl Sweatshirt and Navy Blue, who feature on Wiki’s latest album Half God. The album sees a wise and angry Wiki revealing what it’s like to come of age in the city, painting lyrical pictures of the way it shapes, hardens and prematurely ages you. The album received rave reviews, with Pitchfork declaring “the New York rappers’ latest is one of his greatest.”

Following a string of Europe dates with Slowthai and a sold-out London show, Wiki comes to Sneaky Pete’s 27th July.

Becky Sikasa
for fans of… Joesef, Celeste, Lianne La Havas

July 24th, 2022

The Glasgow/Cologne-based neo-soul artist’s debut Scottish headline show.

What is home? At four years old Becky Sikasa is sat next to her mother in the music room of her parents‘ house at the piano, plays her first notes, sings with her siblings from a worn, frayed music book. Her move to Scotland in 2012 hones her songwriting skills. Sikasa’s first project there starts with the idea of giving a concert in Edinburgh every night for a month. She plays dozens of concerts, from grubby pubs and cute cafés through to dingy clubs and festivals. The songs are written away from all the hustle and bustle. Alone at night, away from the expectations of the day, flashing displays and unexpected phone calls. Sikasa’s songs are scenes from life, art and literature. With a voice as versatile as it is grounded, she delves deep to tie her heart to her words. Trails of vocal harmony weave effortlessly through colourful arrangements to complete explorative, vibrant off-pop tracks. Songs about those questions of belonging, identity and connection. About being more than just one. About the belief in finding a home in the in-between. A home in music. For Becky Sikasa and for all those who listen.
