Signal_008:
Privet b2b Aidan Gibson
January 19th, 2023
Club Signal returns to start 2023 with a super hot dance party. Our resident Aidan Gibson is joined by good friend, legendary Scottish selector and a long-time veteran of the sweatbox Privet.
Formally known as Mr Wednesday Night, Privet has moved to a quarterly weekend slot at the venue with his new project Meanwhile. Coming at absolutely no surprise to anyone, the night has quickly cemented itself as the premier destination for those militant house music heads in the Scottish capital.
This man is single-handedly responsible for introducing the world to half of Scotland’s young talent over his 4-year reign at Heaters. Without his never-ending support and vision, many nights (including ours) would not exist. It goes without saying it’s an absolute pleasure to invite him down on the night.
It’s their first time sharing a line-up since Privet gave a young AG his debut at the club in early 2019. This time the two Sneaky Pete’s fanatics go b2b all night long.
Well-versed in the rhythms and shuffles of soulful 90s sounds, you’s can expect everything from deep techno, to Detroit electro and hands-in-the-air house music.
See you front left.
Heaters // Hypnotikk:
Still Waveley
January 18th, 2023
Have you had a Hypnotikk sized hole in your life since round about mid December? We have too – but don’t worry as it’s about to get filled by a Hypnotikk sized party. That’s right – we are returning to Sneaky Pete’s in January, with some old faces from the Fruitmarket taking over for a night of new beginnings.
Katelate wowed us with her eclectic, effervescent energy behind the decks and never fails to bring something new to the table each time we’ve seen her play. Expecting big, bodacious, things once again as she enters that lovely little sweatbox.
Hector’s hip hop and garage odyssey was ridiculously groovy, and with Felix joining him their power levels will be insanely strong. They’ve got chemistry, they’ve got charm, they’ve got a whole bunch of bootlegs with your name on them.
Headlining for Jan is our resident mad scientist Still Waveley. After December’s sellout b2b he’s tired of sharing and is going to be bringing an absolutely mammoth set of bangers, clangers, wangers and more wheel-ups than is realistically appropriate.
Bring your worst dance moves and your most questionable fits, bring some goss from the family dinner table, and come join us ! xx
