Over a 25 year career, they have dropped 7 LPs, several EPs and singles and toured incessantly, bringing their unique brand of rock-n-roll to hungry fans in every corner of the globe. While the lineups, locations and sounds have changed, Brandon and Charlie have never wavered from their initial teenage mission to help each other escape a life of drudgery, boredom and expectation through music, art, friendship and adventure. They have persevered through the highs and the lows, always together, always creating. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s always been interesting. Now, after the pandemic-induced slowdown, the boys are returning with their 8th album, Upside Down In Heaven, out April 7 on Lolipop Records.”

Sunfruits
Sister Madds
for fans of… T. Rex, Pond, Tame Impala

September 4th, 2023

Sunfruits are a psychedelic pop band from Melbourne. Founded by Winter McQuin, their members include Evie Vlah, Imogen Cygler, Elena Jones and Gene Argiro. Sunfruits live shows revive the 60s psychedelic sounds and visuals with their very own modern 70s rock spin, blending their own twist of modern psychedelia and harmonious pop.

Sunfruits have been making waves around Melbourne and the Australian music scene for the past 3 years with their environmentally conscious and politically aware lyricism, paired with their contemporary psychedelic pop sound. On 2021 release, ‘Certified Remixes’ saw the band collaborate with Traffik Island, Hachiku and Candy on three remixes of previously released tracks ‘Above The Clouds’, ‘Mushroom Kingdom’ and ‘Whatever You Want’. Releasing two 7”s and an EP during their time working with Third Eye Stimuli Records and recently Flightless Records (Distro), these releases all received high praise from Triple J, Clash Magazine, Beat Magazine, Tone Deaf, New Commute and more.

neverfine

September 2nd, 2023

Initially composed of ideas that were formulated by multi-instrumentalist Craig Kelly, these quickly evolved into fully fledged songs after introducing vocalist Ashley Palkowski. The pair soon began collaborating with keyboardist Jess Blinkhorn and the concept of neverfine was born. Having been described by Phoebe I-H as ““walking right on the line between something you can dance to, or something you could maybe even have a little mosh moment with” the group are armed with an eclectic collection of songs and are now ready to hit the ground running by seeking to establish themselves through their emotive and energetic live performances as well as releasing their debut EP Do Everything, Feel Nothing in September.

Sold Out
Low Tide

September 1st, 2023

Low Tide are an Edinburgh based Indie Rock band who formed in high school and have been writing together since late 2022. Their debut single “Between Knuckles” – a sardonic piece of fuzz punk social commentary inspired by a night where lead singer, Beau Johnston, was followed home – is out on the 4th of August. With some live appearances already under their belt, and best played VERY loud, Low Tide make you feel a dizzying calm at times, then envelope you in a cacophony of noise the next – and are anything but shallow.

Bemz

sold out

August 31st, 2023

Crowned as BBC Introducing’s inaugural ‘Scottish Act of the Year’ and armed with imminent new music, Bemz – aka Jubemi Iyiku – is only getting started.

Born in Nigeria, Bemz moved to south London with his parents and six siblings when he was just four. Ten years later, his father decided he should escape the chaos of London and move north to Scotland, where he lived with his aunt and uncle in Stranraer. It was here that Bemz found his voice. From freestyle rapping with his brother at the age of 15; to studying sound production in Ayrshire college; to eventually moving to Glasgow, where he made his SAY (Scottish Album of the Year) Award nominated 2020 debut album ‘Saint of Lost Causes’, Bemz’ lyrical journey is tangible proof that rap’s cultural reach stretches far beyond London and the English borders.

Championed by the likes of Radio 1’s Gemma Bradley and DJ Target, Bemz received Pick of the Week by BBC 1Xtra earlier this year, with previous single ‘26’ receiving Track of the Week. Delivering a raw, emotionally charged view of life, but never falling into the clichéd trappings that often come with that territory, Bemz’ sound stands out for being strikingly honest and unrestrained. Last year he dropped his highly anticipated second EP ‘M4’, before becoming the winner of Best Live Act in the Scottish Alternative Music Awards. Since then, Bemz has embarked on a UK-wide tour supporting The Snuts, and in May played his biggest show to date – a sold out headline show at Glasgow’s King Tuts.
