San Jose

August 16th, 2024

San Jose are a six piece band on a pilgrimage of obsession and desire. Committing themselves to an ideology of both evolution and agitation, navigating through waters on a ship that is uniquely theirs.

Existing within an entrail circus, where flesh and noise collide in ceremony. San Jose have cultivated the fields, sowing seeds and tending to the livestock. And as the chicken whimpers, a paradise forgone.

Gregor AM

August 15th, 2024

Agora’s August shindig at Sneaky Pete’s brings two of the capital’s most esteemed selectors in noodle and Yung Kidd for a special six hour party – with a 5AM license!

Drawing from her experiences of Shanghai’s anomalous underground music scene; Leeds’ heady parties and Edinburgh’s close-knit community, noodle promises sets infused with rare, groove-infused tech house, sparkly, driving minimal and euphoric progressive house. As well as helping run 2-day festival Subterranean Sound, she also runs a monthly radio show on Edinburgh’s community radio station, EHFM, where she meanders playfully through her softer side: whether its hypnagogic ambient, rare 90’s hip-hop or twinkly house music.

Yung Kidd is the head honcho of Mile High Club, an Edinburgh based party that started out as Boiler Room-style events that were streamed online, serving as a musical hub between friends. His selections are eclectic and varied in style, moving from house to techno, through bass from the UK and beyond.

IMO-LU //
imo-Lu is a producer, instrumentalist and DJ based in Glasgow, Scotland. A professional musician by day, she brings her unusual background in keyboard improvisation to the forefront of her drum and bass production, combining rich and atmospheric musical textures with warm and busy breaks.

In 2021, just a year into her production journey, imo-Lu made her debut on Hospital Records with her uplifting keyboard-driven single ‘Circle’, with more releases on the label since then. She has also been a EQ50 mentee with Lenzman’s legendary label, The North Quarter.

As a DJ, imo-Lu brings a subtle, restrained yet wholeheartedly musical vibe to the dancefloor. She has helped put Scottish Drum & Bass back on the map, not only holding down her own headline slots in Glasgow and Edinburgh, but extending her reach to London shows and larger festivals like Hospitality on the Beach in Croatia.

SPLURGE:

Noise Hz

August 14th, 2024

SPLURGE ON THIS.

Live hardcore, Live happy hardcore, Live experimental, LIVE NOISE. Courtesy of the grittiest scoundrels on the Central Belt.

Glasgow based Noise Hz and Glasgow’s own Jock Fox share their unique takes on the harsher sounds in life. Various forms of gabber, H-core, & bass. Living life on the red through no-input mixing, live vocals and intense percussion. Rumblings of 250bpm+ here…

The Edinburgh located Maniatrix will also very much be there. Refusing to pigeon hole themselves to any given sound, you can expect to be journeyed through segments of ambience to glitched out speed breaks during their performance.

NO FOR THE FAINT EH HEART. PUNK. HARDCORE. HAPPY HARDCORE. EXPERIMENTAL. PROBABLY EVERYTHING ELSE. 10 POUNDS. PLUG THEM LUGS.
