Dara Dubh – harp unleashed and a new voice in Indie-pop. Hailing from Northern  Ireland and quickly developing a name for herself in the Scottish music scene,  Dara Dubh is a multifaceted musician who weaves catchy lyricism through her  experimental harp style to create a new sound in popular music.    

With the harp as her trusted companion, Dara pulls influence from the variety of  musical styles that have surrounded her musical journey thus far creating a blend  of genres. As a versatile artist, Dara Dubh has captivated audiences in intimate  acoustic settings and electrifying live performances alike. Dara’s song writing  explores her personal experiences of the world with emotive and heartfelt lyricism,  which resonates with a wide array of listeners. Challenging the idea of an  instrument often associated with traditional music. The harp has found new life in  Dara’s hands as she pushes the boundaries of its capabilities, infusing indie-pop  sensibilities with her authentic vocals.

Undisputed techno legend Dave Clarke joins ona:v for a very special debut at Sneaky Pete’s.

Championed early by the late John Peel who affectionately labelled him The Baron Of Techno, Dave Clarke has been making music of his own since 1990, along the way collaborating with and remixing iconic artists such as Depeche Mode, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld and New Order to Fontaines D.C. Soft Moon, A Place To Bury Strangers, Gazelle Twin, The Amazing Snakeheads and Placebo.

Now residing in Amsterdam, his incredible catalogue and career forge a timeless pillar for the genre of techno, with early recordings that helped crack open a world for fresh voices of electronic music that have left a lasting admiration amongst the scene’s new generation of protagonists.

As 2024 sees the 30-year anniversary unsealing of a classic archive that propelled Dave Clarke’s career and journey through the international dance scene, the reissues of seminal records such as Red’s “Protective Custody” , “Wisdom To The Wise” and “Thunder” are crucial steps in recognising his seismic influence on a scene that followed from the mid-nineties.

Party with a purpose at the Edinburgh relaunch of Love Music Hate Racism! This is a multi-genre fundraiser for the cultural side of the Edinburgh anti-racist movement. Join us in  celebrating solidarity and diversity against the rise of the far-right across Europe and racist rhetoric and policies of the British state.
