Stand B-Side:
Dixon Avenue Basement Jams
December 11th, 2023
Stand B-Side Mondays at Sneaky Pete’s.
Rounding out the year with our Xmas Special, we have Dixon Avenue Basement Jams to come and bring in the classic house and techno vibes.
One of the most prestigious and iconic labels in Glasgow, DABJ have been kicking about for over a decade, and have signed tracks from the likes of Big Miz, Fear-E, and even Denis Sulta.
The pair make their first 2023 trip to Edinburgh this year, having already done some iconic and memorable nights in Sneaky’s in the past.
The past two Xmas shindigs have been complete sell-outs with Macka and Interplanetary Criminal, so we suggest jumping on the bandwagon early and secure your tickets.

Miss World:
sadsugar
miira b2b malicedeejay
December 8th, 2023
We are back from a wee hiatus with a BIG SLAP welcoming sadsugar to Miss World! Noods Radio resident and boss of cutting edge Bristol party Side Eye, hosting guests like Small Crab and Acidfinky, sadsugar is quickly making a name for themselves in the UK underground dance music scene. Having shared the booth with the likes of Om Unit, Bored Lord, Kahn & Neek and DJ Swisha, we can’t wait to host sadsugar at our musical beauty pageant for their Scottish debut! Expect glitched out, chugging percussive numbers with hefty basslines and lilting, futuristic dubstep inspired beats.
On support we have rising Edinburgh stars malicedeejay & miira!
Having supported Goldie during the summer, and appearing on lineups across the capital, we’ve been itching to get maalicedeejay involved at Miss World for months and are absolutely delighted to have the chance to host her. Newly appointed EHFM resident miira has been almost omnipresent in the Cowgate lately, from playing brand new grime night Form696 to smashing out donk and hardstyle from the Sneaky Pete’s booth. The two make form a menacing b2b duo ready to show us how it’s done.
Profits from the night will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians.
PET NEEDS
December 8th, 2023
Johnny’s sofa in Colchester after abandoning a job in a Midlands petrol station for the dazzling lights of Essex. They didn’t have a plan. But they had guitars. With explosive live performances of singalong anti-anthems, PET NEEDS began smashing sets on stages throughout the UK, screaming stories of disastrous job interviews, self-destruction and heading down the river on an inflatable kayak. They continued throughout 2019 at a blistering pace.
As with everyone, plans for a summer filled with festivals and shows were pulled during the lockdown and the band had to have a re-think.
On the day they were meant to be playing Berlin Arena, Johnny and George went for yet another furlough walk around a reservoir. Which is where it was decided. 2020 would instead be the year for the band to finish writing and recording their debut album, Fractured Party Music. No time like the present, eh?
After meeting at Camden Rocks 2019, friend Frank Turner came on board to mix and master the record, the one man able to harness this collision of frenetic energy stored up from months bereft of live shows. Splitting everyone’s lockdown hangovers with screeching feedback, tangled wiry riffs, and sharp, cynic-baiting lyrics that are spat, chanted and hollered, this is nine months of phantom gigs pumped into 33 minutes.
