Breadstain, a Glasgow based group of Scottish pretenders, are still unsure of how to describe their music. Tones of experimental rock, pop and ambience leave an eclectic taste in the ears of their listeners. Billy “Billion” Murison, Jojo “The Bass” Guo, JC “Mr Sauce” Redmond, and Kieran “Mad Dog” Holt are all responsible for not shaping the sound of Breadstain’s music. With interest in film as much as sound, Breadstain has been described as “I don’t really like the name”, and “nothing like Radiohead”. You won’t want to miss their next Yeast Mode appearance.

Off The Record returns July 24th for a showcase of Scotland’s most exciting emerging artists at Sneaky Pete’s, Edinburgh. Corin, Forgetting The Future, Katie Nicoll and The Zebecks all join the line-up spanning Indie, Pop and Alternative Rock.

Dundee’s Copper Lungs has hit the ground running in 2024, returning to the music scene with a bang after a series of brilliant releases, including Younger Heart, Falling, Life Your Way and newest single Pieces of Me which has racked up 9000 streams already. Having shared stages with the likes of Fatherson, Vukovi, and The Xcerts, and earning praise from BBC Radio 1 Introducing and Amazing Radio, Copper Lungs is driven to match — and surpass — the successes they’ve already achieved as they explore a new chapter of their musical journey. The audacious 4-piece is now shifting to a deeper, more experimental sound while embracing a new approach to songwriting.

Exeter’s Black Foxxes have steadily made their mark with a sound that intertwines the raw emotion of grunge, indie rock accessibility and the poignant storytelling of Americana.

Black Foxxes return with their self-funded fourth studio album ‘The Haar’. Recorded over the course of years of wild and remote traveling by frontman Mark Holley, the album was finally recorded in Black Bay Studios on the Isle of Lewis and Barxeta in Spain with legendary producer Dani Castelar. The result is a rich, simmering and cold record that demands attention and re-visits.

From Glasgow’s underground to dance floors across Europe, Asia, and Australia, Austin Ato has built a dedicated following through his productions and his club night I Love Your Energy at The Berkeley Suite. His house releases and cut-up sample 12”s on Classic and Phonica plus his tribal drum rework of Groove Armada’s “I See U Baby,” and piano house tracks on SG Lewis’ Forever Day have gained support from Honey Dijon, Derrick Carter, Paul Woolford, and Ewan McVicar. LIKE THIS DJ’s explore sounds from around the world with future-forward dance music capturing the spirit of original underground parties in basements, garages, lofts, and warehouses.

Youth Fountain is a Canadian, Emo / Pop-Punk solo project from Tyler Zanon of Vancouver, British Columbia.

Doss, the bold electronic post-punk trio from Glasgow—featuring Sorley Mackay, Mark Black, and Chilton Fawcett—has carved out a distinctive sound, blending hard-hitting drumbeats, trudging basslines, and sharp, tongue-in-cheek lyricism. Initially a solo project by Sorley Mackay, Doss was born in a modest bedroom studio, creating electrifying tracks with minimal gear, pairing driving rhythms with provocative vocals and witty wordplay.

The band explores themes like gentrification, addiction, zero-hours contracts, and generational trauma, infusing their music with a strong Scottish identity, delivered through their unmistakable Glaswegian dialect. Renowned for their high-energy live performances, Doss has headlined sold-out gigs across major UK and EU cities to widespread acclaim.

Crop Rot is a Louisville, Kentucky-based punk band formed in late 2023, delivering chaotic, feedback-drenched riffs, thunderous drums, and melancholic noise for cathartic and unforgettable live shows. Quickly gaining traction, the band has released two demo tapes and performed alongside acts like They Are Gutting A Body of Water (TAGABOW), Edhoculi, and Louisville staples such as Pissed On and Deady. Highlights include a 2024 DIY tour across the U.S. (Louisville, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and more) and a set at No Comply, Louisville’s premiere underground music and skateboarding event

Hannah Juanita left her home state of Tennessee in her early twenties to break out of a stifling culture of conformity and meet the world. She travelled in search of herself, worked odd jobs, and spent countless nights singing fireside under the stars with friends, never pursuing music as a career.

Eventually, Hannah made it back to Tennessee, landing in Nashville with nothing but her dog Loretta, her guitar, and a handful of heartbreak songs. She started singing around town and quickly became a staple live performer and a highly respected vocalist in the traditional country scene in Music City, known for her classic school sound.

Self-proclaimed “ramblin’ gal”, Hannah Juanita has toured heavily around the countrysince 2021 headlining and supporting acts like Kaitlin Butts, Nick Shoulders, EmilyNenni, Summer Dean, Jesse Daniel & Kelsey Waldon.

Her debut record ‘Hardliner ’ established her reputation as a full-hearted, free-spirited, and irresistibly genuine honky-tonk angel. Hannah’s second full-length record, ‘Tennessee Songbird,’ was released on August 30, 2024, and she will be touring throughout 2025 across the United States and Europe.
