BOOTlace
November 25th, 2022
Writing music for the sheer love of it, Tasting Shapes are forming their own sonic identity somewhere on the spectrums of post, indie and prog rock. Formed late 2019 in Edinburgh as a semi-acoustic duo project, founding members Chris MacKinnon (guitars and keys) and Kat Aydin (vocals) were later joined by Callum Mouat (drums) and Robert Tingle (bass) as their sound evolved, with Rab Winter joining on second guitar as they take to the live stage.
The band are releasing their debut album, Close to Distance, on 25th November.

Somewhere within a lifetime of repeats, reruns and reboots, UK-based producer TVAM lives, crafting sounds and visuals which touch on our memories but toy with our fears.
Hypnotic tracks which straddle an impressive spectrum of influence; with Boards of Canada’s irresistible nostalgia, Suicide’s deconstructed rock’n’roll and My Bloody Valentine’s infinite noise all becoming touch points in TVAM’s musical output.
