Daniel McGurty is back at Sneaky Pete’s to celebrate the release of his most recent album, World. Come for a journey through a synthesis of retro gaming, big beats and bad-taste MIDI patches.
Warming things up, we are privileged to have one of Edinburgh’s most exciting electronic musicians, Maniatrix, returning to Sneaky Pete’s. Come and shake off the residue of the Hogmanay hangover – this is not one to miss.

Across dubstep and its after-ripples, Brazilian street party funk, Chicago juke trax, techno from around the world, and way beyond, DJs and producers have painted psychedelic soundscapes, birthed unearthly creatures, created impossible devices, and moved unknowable ways since Kraftwerk & YMO said ‘go’. Katalysis accelerates the reaction of creativity with passion, our need to move our bodies coming into dialogue with our search for meaning and beauty.

Led, as it always is, by the marginalised, this vanguard of the edge of the envelope draws from experiences of exclusion, otherness, alterity, subterfuge, counterculture, introspection, migration, racialisation, disabling, and queerness. This night is brought to you and hosted by Katelate, filling an hour each night with the bedrock of the katalytic sound.

Adam and the Observers are an up and coming indie rock band from Dundee, Scotland. Made up of Adam Percival, Georgie Pelc, Daniel Cook and Anna Fettes, their passion clearly shows through their music. They have played many venues throughout Scotland, including Beat Generator and Sneaky Petes, and was on tour early this year (2024)!

One last festive hurrah before we grab 2025 by the horns and get stuck in about it.
