Heyday:
Ketiov & Prosumer

May 17th, 2025

Heyday is a queer night for people passionate about house music with Prosumer (former Berghain/Panorama Bar resident) and special guest Ketiov.

Prosumer decamped to Edinburgh from Berlin where he helped shape the sound Berghain’s Panorama Bar alongside long time collaborator Steffi. Now a popular NTS Radio resident, he’s continued to tour globally and is now equally well known as a frequent flyer at Homobloc, Glastonbury’s Block9 and NYC Downlow, Love International and many more.

Ketiov is the solo project from Wojciech Taranczuk, best known as one half of 3 Channels and Catz ’N Dogz. Now key fixture of Madrid’s queer party scene, Kietov continues to dazzle crowds with his innovative rhythmic play and effortless mixing of funk, disco and 90s house.

Peter Cat
The Raeburn Brothers

May 17th, 2025

Glaswegian art pop auteurs PETER CAT return to Edinburgh for a full band headline show, ahead of their colossal new single and eponymous album, ‘Starchamber’.

‘Starchamber’ takes a hammer to the jaunty, twee avant-pop that Peter Cat formerly traded in – from the opening salvo of discordant, fuzzy guitar lines duelling with soaring, operatic vocals, it’s clear that we’re in entirely new sonic territory.

There’s shades here of Frank Zappa’s caustic playfulness, combined with a jazz-inflected crushing heaviness inspired by King Crimson, keeping this tune in step with the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Black Midi. All of this adds up to create a vibe that’s somehow both groovy and apocalyptic.

Peter Cat’s back catalog incorporates a wide range of influences, from angular indie rock, analog synth-pop, and torch-song balladeering; all undergirded by a wry and sardonic bass-baritone croon; like Berlin-era Bowie crossed with Frank Zappa.

Peter Cat’s debut LP, The Saccharine Underground, was released in 2020 through MoFi Records and distributed through Scottish indie heavyweight Last Night From Glasgow. This was followed by the well-received EP The Magus in 2022, which spawned fan favourite single, ‘Melon Dating Simulator!!’, a surreal track about cross-species dating in an imagined future dystopia. Peter Cat’s forthcoming second full-length, Starchamber, will be released through Cambridge-based Trapped Animal Records in late 2025.

Import:
DJ FLUFFIE

May 15th, 2025

For our second edition of import we are focusing on Scotland based imports – and more specifically fast music specialists. We are so excited to have DJ Fluffie, a Glasgow-based DJ/producer in our home of Sneaky Petes to take us through a journey of everything fun and fast. Their sets are known for working between genres including euphoric trance, happy hardcore and more.

On support we have Edinburgh based Sickboy hailing from the highlands, and Minnesotan Buckfast Barbie. These two will be warming up the dance floor quickly as they are also fast music connoisseurs – favoring trance, latintek, donk, electro and more.

Expect high-NRG all night long with these three – all gas no breaks!

Katalysis

May 14th, 2025

Across dubstep and its after-ripples, Brazilian street party funk, Chicago juke trax, techno from around the world, and way beyond, DJs and producers have painted psychedelic soundscapes, birthed unearthly creatures, created impossible devices, and moved unknowable ways since Kraftwerk & YMO said ‘go’. Katalysis accelerates the reaction of creativity with passion, our need to move our bodies coming into dialogue with our search for meaning and beauty.

Join us as we take to the floor of Sneaky Pete’s for the third time, in a cavalcade of queer emotion. With choice underground UK selectors at the heart of the underground scene, you know this is one you can’t miss.

Led, as it always is, by the marginalised, this vanguard of the edge of the envelope draws from experiences of exclusion, otherness, alterity, subterfuge, counterculture, introspection, migration, racialisation, disabling, and queerness. This night is brought to you and hosted by Katelate, filling an hour each night with the bedrock of the katalytic sound.

queer dancefloors • transcendent rhythms • curious minds • resolute spirits

We don’t accept bigotry; threatening, predatory, or abusive behaviour towards staff or other guests; disrespect to the venue; or overly-intoxicated and disorderly guests. A ticket does not guarantee entry in violation of these basic standards.
