WELCOMING the wonderful ELL MURPHY to haptic this July to celebrate the release of her brand new 3 track “Waiting” EP, a beautiful bubbling garage release that’s giving us huge excitement for Summer festival season.
This has been a long time coming: we’ve been fans of Ell for years, from her soaring, heartfelt vocal work and collaborations with Gemi, Giulia Tess, Mani Festo, Medlar, Osmosis Jones and Daffy, to her purposeful, driving club selections on the likes of Rinse FM, BBC 6 Music and HÖR Berlin.
Ell will just have graced the stage at Glastonbury before this delightful midweek treat: come down and witness one of the best, AT one of the best!
See you in the smoke!
Folk Boy Records presents Luke De-Sciscio at Sneaky Pete’s with support from genre-melding songwriter Rapt.
Between the years of 2014 and 2024 Luke De-Sciscio recorded seventeen full length albums. These songs, though recorded live and often through no more than a single microphone thrown up at the foot of his bed, became the tablet upon which he chronicled the seasons of his life.
It is no small miracle that from that vantage point, weaving tapestries from behind his guitar, Luke De-Sciscio amassed over 10 million plays on Spotify, has been invited to open for legends such as Cat Stevens and Jose Feliciano and become a frequent spin on BBC6MUSIC.
In March 2024 Luke De-Sciscio welcomed his daughter to the World and over the next six weeks recorded an album that sits amongst the top 50 albums of the year on Album Of The Year.org.
His music has been described as ‘impossibly, world-stoppingly real’ (Marc Schuster) and ‘viscerally beautiful’ (Real Goblin).
Lyrical potency takes centre stage amongst the elasticity of his voice and the born-in grasp of his guitar.
for fans of… John Martyn, Jeff Buckley, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens or Buffy Sainte-Marie
