It’s the music we all love but in a very cool context. Rustie and SBTRKT but also Prince and Fleetwood Mac. It’s not a mashup night, it’s just a bunch of great music all together.

Initially a garage MC working under the name Mentor, Roska found fame in the mid 2000s for his productions and DJing as part of the burgeoning UK Funky movement, along with peers like Marcus Nasty. Roska’s debut album ‘Rinse Presents: Roska’ cemented his status as a front runner of the genre, powered along by catchy synth hooks and his trademark syncopated drum patterns, reminiscent of the broken beat scene of the early 2000s. He runs his own imprint, Roska Kicks N Snares, and collaborates frequently with vocalists Anesha and Jamie George.

WIDE DAYS: Honeyblood and Homework

We are pleased to announce the line up for this year’s showcase tour which takes place on Thursday 12 April, at the end of the two-day music industry conference. A diverse range of genres including electronica, singer-songwriter, folk and math rock will be represented. And for the first-time the event will feature a foreign band with award-winning, Norwegian teen punks Honningbarna making their debut Scottish appearance.
