Jules and the Blue Garnets have been described as ‘fresh, clear…no saccharine. A bit like apple cider vinegar…tingly’. Lead singer and writer, Julia, composes simply from the heart. Combined with the creative influence of guitarist and producer, Rob and the innate talent of percussionist, Chris, the band is individual, progressive and passionate.

with Universal Thee
March 29th, 2013
‘Picturesque’ is the next single and video from Steve and the chaps. So very much like last summer’s first video’s release, we’ve decided to have a wee shindig to show it to you live music fans first. We’ll be playing a wee set with some new songs and we’ll be joined in support by hotly tipped new boys n girls, Universal Thee
Also, the man behind the video from Rjah Films will be in the house too to take all the plaudits and free bevvy you can throw at him. Check out all the good work that’s gone before here.
There’ll be the usual load of guests and freebies and banter so get down early, cause this will be a probably sell out. FACT!

BIXON presents ANTHONY NAPLES (mister saturday night)
March 22nd, 2013
Anthony Naples is fast becoming one of the most relevant producers of the moment. Based in New York he had recent releases ok local Mister Saturday Night Records. Reinforced with a remix for Four Tet, Mr Naples was not likely to go by unnoticed.
In November ’12 he was further exposed with a first-rate Louche podcast and and a Perrier ‘Breaking Through’ accolate via Resident Advisor.
He’s now being booked on this side of the Atlantic, notably at Berghain last month.
It’s clear that Anthony’s influences are not blinkered by years of dance indulgence, but drawn from a wide range of experiential discipline.
