DJ October – Dutch born, Bristol based, Julian has obviously drawn formative inspiration from a broad personal experience. Having been releasing tracks for over ten years, his productions span House, Techno, Deep House and Dub. With a path carved by the cities he has lived in and / or been influenced by.

DJing from within is sometimes overlooked these days markedly with the popularization of dance music. October’s approach certainly comes from the right place and his connection with the crowd dictates the story of each energized set.

To bring to light all the labels he has worked with would probably even tire the most chin stroking of enthusiast. Recently; while putting out on labels such as Skudge, Aus, Simple and Apple Pips – October and John Osborn launched Tanstaafl; a label grafting together the creative dispositions of Bristol and Berlin, specialising in limited run vinyl.
