Hot Tub Astronaut publishes contemporary words, images and sounds. Begun as a literary endeavour, it is expanding into other media including photography, drawing and sound, as well as book and exhibition reviews.

This launch is to gather creative and art-minded people together to foster a community of artistic making and sharing in Edinburgh. Get involved!

There will be readings by Claire Askew, Colin McGuire, Oliver Harris, Theresa Munoz, Liam Dunn, and a live sound performance by Brian Pokora and Chet King.

As Hot Tub Astronaut is still in its early stages, the event is designed to get the forum known by folks who would be keen to contribute and find a home for their work.

We are so thrilled to welcome back Harri and Domenic after them having play such an incredible set back in October.

Scotland’s longest serving resident DJ’s from Scotland’s most beloved nightclub bring 21 years of Subculture to takeover Coalition for the night Sneaky Pete’s Sunday May 3rd. Subculture, with Harri and Domenic at the helm, is the longest running weekly House night in the U.K. and very possibly worldwide. Now in it’s 21st year Subculture has hosted the cream of international House DJs and has a reputation as one of the best and most credible House nights in the world.

Performing his live debut at Sub Club’s New Year’s Eve party was just the latest landmark event in a 15 year career.  We will soon finally see the launch of his debut album, a celebration of the the machine groove he’s well known for. 

The Revenge is a producer who understands the past but embraces the future. His forward thinking productions and versatility as a DJ have ensured him a place as one of the leading names in underground house over recent years.

The Revenge solo productions have found homes on revered international labels including DFA, Pokerflat, Needwant, My Favorite Robot and his own deceased, but much sought after, Instruments Of Rapture. Showcasing a range of vocals, dubs and tempos, his new label Roar Groove takes over that mantle and provides the foundation for The Revenge’s original music and collaborations.

He’s gone on to forge several aliases and collaborative projects for his prolific production and creative needs. As 6th Borough Project, alongside veteran Edinburgh DJ Craig Smith, the partnership turned out two stunning full-length albums for the respected UK label Delusions Of Grandeur, providing a platform for their in-demand DJ performances and a nomination for Scottish Album Of The Year. Another long term collaboration with Glasgow’s legendary Sub Club resident DJ Harri recently gained high praise from industry tastemakers including Skream, DJ Hell, Rob Da Bank and Ewan Pearson.

Monsters on Movie Posters are a 3 piece indie band from Fife. Their Scottish folky sound mixed with their modern alternative influences really bring a crowd to life.
