Riso Rising

We’re been making Riso posters for a few years now, starting with some crackers for Mount Kimbie and Matthew Dear, but it’s only fairly recently we’ve been able to get them printed in Edinburgh by the good people at Workhorse Press.
Risography is a printing method that produces single layers of individual colours, like screen printing. But unlike screen printing it is cheap to set up.
We love the results, especially when the ink layers are slightly askew (missed registration) as often occurs.
Here’s a section of some of our latest ones. The In Deep posters were designed by Luke Drozd, who also designed our logo, and printed at Risotto Studio in Glasgow.
