Faux Fancy Records presents: Jonny Jewel plus Hecklers

June 30th, 2017

Jonny can’t really remember the beginning. He does remember being alone in a big house. He does remember not wanting to go down to the basement. He remembers the day… opening the door to darkness.. and the interminable steps.

Then the light and a sparkling red fender supersonic… a senssionette amplifier, a video recording machine, an old T.V, re-runs of the monkeys and the banana splits shows, vinyl records, television, The Ramones, Edwin Collins and Roxy music.

Jonny knew what he had to do.

Under the light of the marquee moon, he did not hesitate. He practiced, and he practiced and he practiced. Soon others heard the strange sounds coming from the big house.. and they came.”

Tickets on sale.

He’s a DJ with pedigree from a very special fertile crescent of techno / house / party DJing, when raves were still a fresh idea, and DJs like Claude Young, Derrick Carter and Mike Huckaby were informing an upcoming generation.

Mike digs deep but likes to shake his tail too so he’s a perfect Juice guest.
