Cutting edge all female techno trio come to the city for the first time from Copenhagen to grace the Wasabi decks.

We don’t do outside events that often but when we do, it’s with our good friends who’ve played the club many times, and we host them at very special places.

Fireside, the derelict but soon to be developed lot at the end of Waverley Arches on East Market Street, is a set of towering vaults with a very special atmosphere.

In early 2015, lead singer and songwriter Hannah Miller read a New Scientist article that described how the discovery of a microscopic creature had redefined the perimeters of life as we know it. The ‘Halicephalobus Mephisto’ Nematode Worm has none of the requirements of other known life forms – able to survive deep underground, without oxygen or sunlight. Frank Satan & His Husbands return Live and In Person for another very special festive get-together. Their only live appearance of 2017 will see a mixture of Frank’s own songs and twisted covers, including a whole bunch with a seasonal slant.

Choka are a self-dubbed “psych-surf” band based in Edinburgh. Their sound blends punk, shoegaze and psychedelia into a unique and exciting wall of noise.
