We Were There: Agent of Change Enters Scottish Government Policy and Helps Protect Venues from Developers!

We’re mega pleased to report that our work petitioning government, alongside some of the best venues in Scotland, has led to the inclusion of the Agent of Change principle into planning policy in Scotland.
This comes just over a year since we helped change the licensing policy in Edinburgh, so we’re really chuffed to see those in power listening to music venues and acting.
You can find out more about Agent of Change, which requires developers to mitigate noise issues if they build close to a venue, at Music Venue Trust’s site.
