Amp Fiddler live
*note change of show time*

April 4th, 2019

Amp Fiddler‘s credentials are the best in the game: he introduced J Dilla to the MPC (for real tho) and then to Q-Tip who launched Jay’s career; he played keys with George Clinton in Parliament and Funkadelic early in his career; he’s worked with artists as diverse Moodymann, Prince, Jamiroquai, Corinne Bailey Rae and Theo Parrish – and last year released his second solo album. Amp Fiddler is Detroit to the bone.

This is his second show here. The first show sold out and was straight fire. Trust, this is one of the best shows you’ll see at Sneaky Pete’s.

Special guest DJ Craig Smith, who is well known in hip hop circles, and is also one of Scotland’s true house music dons, is on warmup duties to get things bubbling. He will also perform after for our ‘Popular Music’ clubnight, which ticket holders are welcome to stay for!

Heaters & rossz vér // Kreggo [art-aud]

April 3rd, 2019

Heaters joins once again with real life alien duo, rossz vér – welcoming the force behind art-aud, Kreggo!

Italian producer and DJ, Kreggo does not mess about. He’s been busy of late releasing a mind-bending EP on Lobster Theremin, operating under a wealth of aliases (including G-23) and powering through ‘Secret Rave’ EPs. The art-aud label boss has brought a transformative approach to the world of dance music, and shows no sign of taking his foot off the pedal. Seatbelts recommended.

Locals rossz vér continue to shine, bringing their otherworldly sounds to every party they play, they’re all set to abduct the dancefloor from opening!

Alex Rex with Jill Lorean

April 3rd, 2019

Alex Rex is the solo project from Alex Neilson (Trembling Bells/ Bonnie “Prince” Billy) and friends. Singing songs of love, loss, loathing and sex.

This is their first UK tour to promote new album OTTERBURN (Tin Angel Records).

Trembling Bells were one of our favourite acts to ever play the venue, and we can assure you that this new album is fantastic. Misanthropy has never sounded so glorious.

Jill Lorean is the nom de guerre of Jill O’Sullivan – founding member of BDY_PRTS and Sparrow & The Workshop – two of the most innovative and incendiary bands to come out of Glasgow in the past 15 years.

Uptight and soulful with a smear of gut-bucket Blues, Lorean is the perfect culmination of Jill’s distinctive songwriting.
