Charity Fundraiser
ALF with special guests KilgrVston, Hamish Hawk, Hector Shaw and Baron Salmon

September 29th, 2019

Upcoming and established local bands helping raise funds for medical care.

ALF

Inspired by heavy bass, crazy synth and soulful ukulele. Formed by lead singer /songwriter Alfie Marsh formerly of Martin Place and lead vibe creator Alastair Barron, this will be the first live headline debut of their brand new music.

Kilgrvston

5 piece band from Edinburgh who combine harsh rock riffs with poppy feel good melodies to put on exhilarating show.

Hector Shaw

As a young child Hector Shaw regularly came on tour with his parents – members of Scottish folk band Capercaillie. Now 19 and living in Edinburgh he has performed across Scotland, including at Belladrum’s Tartan Heart Festival. His songs use open tunings, his husky vocals taking clear influence from John Martin and Joni Mitchell. He plans to release a debut single soon

Baron Salmon

Baron Salmon, now 20, has come a long way since picking up a guitar 6 years ago. From a fledgling Steve Earle wannabe, he is now in command of an impressive and complex approach to guitar playing that owes more to influences such as Nick Drake and Richard Thompson.

Support also from Hamish Hawk whose vocals on his latest double EP Laziest River have been described as unique and beguiling by ASSAI Records.
