Green Gardens
The Raeburn Brothers
Steff Corr
for fans of… Black Country, New Road, Do Nothing, TV Priest, The National

March 12th, 2026

Leeds’ Green Gardens form intricate indie-rock songs that value tenderness and extremity in equal measure. Real love and care for sweet melodies, lo-fi guitars, warm drums and the tension of their relationships sits at the heart of their music.

While 2023’s ‘This is Not Your Fault’ relishes the simplicity of live capture, their latest album ‘Thistlesifting’ replaces sparseness with a new found scope. Written in private with limited resources, then realised as a collective, the band transform their honest, warm songwriting into something carnal and tactile. Through a series of evolving masses and dynamics, the songs act as anchors amongst waves of colour and static. These range from dark cavernous tombs to light and ethereal found-sound spaces.

Reflecting on loss and relishing the euphoria of passing joys, the four-piece explore a hushed sanctuary inspired by Sparklehorse, and the crushed lo-fi guitars of the genre’s giants The Microphones and Broken Social Scene. With the help of Joel Johnston (Far Caspian) producing the record, Thistlesifting is a dynamic and immersive statement from the indie-rock 4-piece.

Shelf Lives
Bathing Suits
at The Mash House
for fans of… Peaches, Confidence Man, Bikini Kill, Sleigh Bells

March 10th, 2026

Shelf Lives is an Electro-Bass Punk band which is definitely not a real genre.

They make catchy, energetic tunes that bring the abrasiveness and physicality of punk back to a small, cramped house party setting. It’s music so rowdy you can practically feel the sweat on the ceiling and the sound of crushed cans under your feet.

After a few years of creating, releasing and caring-ish what everyone thinks, they now don’t (at all) but are obsessed with experimenting and embracing authentically whatever they feel. The objective is clear and the boundaries intentional; the point is to get every listener to feel something whether it’s bad or good, whether they want to or not.
