Colin Andrew
Anton McLoughlin
July 25th, 2023
Kerryman Colin Andrew has been honing his alt-pop style through live performances, international residencies and TV appearances since 2012. He has roots in indie, folk and traditional Irish music, which inform his distinct sound and honest lyrics. Andrew’s captivating, high-energy performances guarantee his audiences a show that blends tradition, musicianship and creativity.
Andrew has now focused on his upcoming EP, which promises his most personal and engaging work to date. The forthcoming release will reward his audience with frank lyrics and well-crafted melodies. This distinctive body of work clearly demonstrates the evolution of Andrew’s style; the maturity of his work, teamed with his extensive performance portfolio, has cemented his reputation as a staple of the alternative music scene.
Edinburgh-based artist Anton Mcloughlin’s passion for experimentation was fostered by his musically driven family surroundings in Newry, Co. Down. Being exposed to a variety of genres and artists and witnessing musical performance from a young age, a thirst for creativity was something that developed naturally within the 25-year-old. Writing and musical collaboration is something Mcloughlin embraced over the course of his childhood which has resulted in an incredibly mature and diverse sound. Flavours of pop, hip-hop and electronica weave through his music, alongside rhythmic melodies, the softness of an acoustic guitar and powerful percussion driving perfectly blended emotive pop.

Returning for their first headline show of 2023 – Scheme, TP brings their mythical live show back to Sneaky Pete’s for the biggest spectacle yet.
Mixing hypnotising, twinkling melodies with drums big enough to blow a hole in your chest, Scheme delivers a soft, yet assertive blend of modern R&B with underground hip-hop. Spinning stories of their life: the highlights, the mistakes, the wisdoms, Scheme unravels the journey that started in 2019 with their debut mixtape “SEE MORE”.
2020’s “OSIRIS” album released to great reception, followed by 2021 conceptual project “INSIDE MUSIC”, and its accompanying art exhibition and residency in New Cross, London. The fortnight-long exhibition presented Scheme’s boundary-pushing production and multi-disciplinary approach in the lead-up to the release, the album itself looped as a soundtrack to the space.
In 2022, the Edinburgh-based Scheme released five “FREE MUSIC E.P.’s” as a Bandcamp exclusive, the singles from these projects now made available on streaming services. The forthcoming release, “A World Before Druidism”, is anticipated for summer 2023.
