Magda Drozd
Sopraterra

April 21st, 2026

Night is about to fall, the day slowly fades away, and it is this twilight time that Magda Drozd’s latest album inhabits. Divided by Dusk, the Polish composer’s third solo album, carries the promise of a crepuscular otherworldliness. Inspired by Drozd’s stays in Japan, its rich tradition in ambient and experimental music and a collaboration with Japanese flautist Rai Tateishi, as well as a renewed engagement with her roots in Poland and its folk and ancient history, her work is a form of sonic excavation. Layers of dark-ambient tones intertwine with field recordings, textured violin, and luminous folk motifs, invoking long-gone, unspecified rituals.

The album freely interprets traditional folklore, unleashing the ghosts of past cultures we inherit through music passed down to us. Paired with experimental ambient sonic textures, the album carries a magnificent, wandering, melancholic air. The compositions take on an incantatory dimension, welcoming us into a liminal world—one filled with buried treasures.

Magda Drozd, born in Warsaw, is a composer, violinist, and sound artist living in Zürich and London. She has been releasing her music on the Swiss label Präsens Editionen since 2019 and further releases have followed on Hallow Ground for their compilation ‘Epiphanies’, on Flaming Pines for the concept album ‘Cassette Album’ by Salomé Voegelin, and on her own label Rivercore, a platform for experimental music.

Perel
at discotia

April 17th, 2026

The disco/techno heat of Perel’s releases on LCD Soundsystem’s DFA label are matched by her genuinely thrilling DJ Sets. Drawing on her early love for brooding New Wave and Post-Punk, she’s made seminal records on Running Back and Kompakt too. Berlin House Zenner, and closing sets at Sonar Barcelona and its Lisbon edition. She’s known to play Koko and Berghain’s Panorama Bar, and supported the Chemical Brothers.

For as long as she can remember, Annegret Fiedler has created electronic melodies to soundtrack her daydreams. Drawing on her early love for brooding New Wave and Post-Punk, she became Perel, an electronic producer, vocalist and DJ who spent much of the 2010s shaping her sound – and to just praise. As well as being the first German artist to sign to James Murphy’s seminal dance-punk label DFA Records, Perel has performed internationally as a live act and DJ, from the floors of throbbing techno clubs to major city festivals.

Growing up in the East German state of Saxony, she learned how to write and produce songs, inspired by Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk and The Cure, among others. Later drawn to Berlin and its underground club scene, she took on the persona of Perel, writing, producing and singing on solo material for labels like Running Back, Uncanny Valley, Kompakt and Permanent Vacation. In an ever-evolving club scene with myriad faces, Perel stood out by singing over her DJ sets, bridging the mood of her own live sound with her selections.

Perel’s live performances and DJ shows are a testament to her captivating stage presence and musical versatility. Highlights include performances at Outside Lands in San Francisco, her first hard ticket selling show in Berlin House Zenner, and closing sets at Sonar Barcelona and its Lisbon edition. She has also graced stages at Nation Of Gondwana, Fusion Festival, Koko, and the renowned Panorama Bar / Berghain, as well as support to the Chemical Brothers.

Now with a raft of new music out in 2025 and a recent move to Los Angeles she continues to evolve her timeless Neosynth to enjoy as the sun sets over the horizon and the freaks come out to play.

Winter McQuinn
Pys Melyn
Cofally
for fans of… Carole King, Nick Drake, Kate Bollinger, Drugdealer

April 17th, 2026

Naarm/Melbourne songwriter, Winter McQuinn explores country and folk, imbued by psychedelia with a contemporary edge.

UK’s Shindig Magazine best-described McQuinn’s music as “pollinated with dashes of 21st Century environmentalism and political awareness. ” His music ripples with free-ness similar to revered 1960s/70s artists such as Nick Drake and Syd Barrett, and contemporary artists such as Kate Bollinger, Tex Crick and Alex Izenberg. McQuinn’s 2021 debut album ‘A Rabble Of Bees’ marked the beginning of his solo wanderings into psychedelic outsider pop. His 2024 sophomore album ‘Move To The Trees’ (featured in Rolling Stone AU and KEXP’s ‘Best Of’ lists for 2024), saw McQuinn honing his craft with a series of anthems for the future, settled in post-psych folk and 70s soft rock energy.

The end of 2024 saw McQuinn release a co-written EP ‘Recently I’ve Been Missing The Colour Green’ with Acacia Pip (Pinch Points) which was described as “collection of 6 pastoral, slacker folk gems” by Shindig Magazine (UK), and lead to tours in Australia, Europe and the UK. McQuinn has also begun releasing music with a new duo project Beefheart and McQuinn with UK Artist Moby Beefheart (aka William Murray from outfit FUR). Most recently, following stellar singles “Walkin’ Through That Door”, “Always Looking” and “Growing Old”

McQuinn shared his third and most ambitious album yet, Where Are We Now?, out now via Third Eye Stimuli Records (AU) and Born Losers Records (North America). The album has since received acclaim in Rolling Stone, Stereogum, 3RRR and many others, also reaching #16 on the AIR Charts and added to rotation on Double J and saw McQuinn support notable artists including Sylvie (US), Kacy & Clayton (CAN), Sonny & The Sunsets (US), Leah Senior, Bures Band, Nice Biscuit, Joe Ghatt (NZ). This album was described as his “most sophisticated record yet” and features collaborations with Dylan Young (Way Dynamic), Hot Apple Band, Feign Jima and many more.
