Since its inception in 2018, Tummyache has carved out a space in the DIY scenes of both the United States and the UK, resonating with listeners who feel the weight of systemic struggles and societal expectations. Soren Bryce’s music pulls no punches; her lyrics confront issues of class, privilege, and inner conflict, inviting listeners to face the harsh realities she lays bare.
‘Repeat in Reverse’ – the fourth album out October 16th, 2026 – is an in-depth examination of the after effects of grief, through the personal experience of Soren losing her father two years ago. From intimate tape recordings from her flat to visceral screaming, it captures the cyclical nature of grief and it’s ability to invade and infect day to day life – how there is no light without dark, no acceptance without breaking, and no love without growth.
