Gus Ives
Dead Funky
Edinburgh based artist Gus Ives is playing his first headline show on 3rd November. Gus writes and records his original songs by himself and then performs them with his backing band ‘The Unit’. With his wide vocal range and anthemic songwriting style, he defies you not to have his melodies stuck in your head upon first listen. Because of his voice, Gus is often compared to the likes of Thom Yorke and Elliott Smith, with his live sound emulating bands like Wunderhorse, Geese and The Libertines.
