Garage rock trio Casual Drag headline Sneaky Pete’s to mark the release of their latest single. Support comes from local garage-punks Moxies and post-punks Sheila In the Poundshop.
Snarling vocals over feral guitar riffs,backed by pounding drums and bass – Scottish garage punk three-piece Casual Drag have earned a reputation as a must-see live band through a series of packed and frenetic shows across the UK. Singles ‘The Talk’ and ‘Can You Hear Me Now’ were championed by BBC Introducing, BBC6 Music and Amazing Radio.
There is a drive and energy embedded within their music, raw and edgy with twisted riffs and crashing drums. Their standout brand of clattering garage-rock has led to support slots with Joe Talbot of IDLES, Frankie & the Witch Fingers, Flat Worms, Bass Drum of Death, and Mass of the Fermenting Dregs. Signed to Glasgow’s renowned Electric Honey Records, the band are working on their debut album set for release in early Spring.
